Im gonna have to say Halo...its got better multiplayer and gameplay in general..but if i just wanna play a quick game with tons of weapons that really customizable, id go with TimeSplitters:Future Perfect

Metroid beats out Halo on history alone SuperMetroid is like one of the best games ever made period and still is after all this time. Halo drew in a bunch of mainstream gamers. The Hardcore like myself know that Metroid is the way to go.

And in a fight between Master Cheif and Samus....Samus wins.

But in metroid prime, once you get all the power ups, you're practicly invincible!!! And Halo Takes Stratagy!

True. I've heard enough about Metroid here, and in a few reviews, that have shown how much I'm missing out on. On the other hand, Halo and Halo 2 are pretty good and have the best feel of any FPS I've ever played, they're not like gifts from Heaven. They're so-so. Their multiplayer maps are way too small for good one-on-one hunt downs and their range of weapons is limited. It's a great game, but I wouldn't call it one of the best games of all time. I truly down feel it deserved 10's across the board in EGM. So, I'm guessing Metroid Prime is a too underrated game while Halo is a too overrated game.

Halo and Strategy don't belong in the same sentence. Hell, I'm surprised Brady Games actually went to the trouble of writing a strategy guide for Halo or Halo 2. There is no strategy. Maybe strategically play with one hand while you eat Doritos and drink Dr. Pepper with the other hand.

ive posted here once but ill state my claim again....

it really comes down to the gamer...i prefer Halo because i can play online with other people, and get better at the game....yes its and easy game to start out, but playing online is a whole other experience

ive played metroid and yes...its a stunning game, amazing gameplay, fun levels, and fun tasks and strategy, but to disagree with what the guy above me said, yes HALO DOES TAKE STRATEGY

strategy is a set plan that you use in situations....u need a plan in halo, u cant run out and yell
"i pwn u st00pid n00b5!!" with and SMG and expect to get very far...u have to know where to attack, when, and, depending on the area of which u attack, what weapons to do it with.

Yes, im a Halo Gamer....i have a very short attention span, and like to play games where things move quickly....aka Halo 2

BUT there are other Gamers out there who like games like Splinter Cell and Metroid...a game where ur flying solo, THE WHOLE TIME...in those games you REALLY cant run out in a firing rampage...you'll just get mowed down and taken out...those games take more strategy then any others

technically, yes, i'm defending Halo 2 here, but i can see where everyone else is coming from...so i hope you all can stop saying things like

Hmm, I wouldn't think Metroid Prime is underrated. It is good, I know a lot of people that like it. Halo, probably overrated, but I havn't played the game. I've only seen my friends play on Halo 2 multiplayer. Besides, I don't have an X-Box.

well, you cant just say that becuase theres alot of fps like a WAY WAY back post form this kid say timespiliters or perfect dakr so there more hey i lke metriod i only played halo once but hell they both sem good i like halo the first time i played it but it doesnt means it the best i think residentevil four was hell of a good game man and perfect dakr iam still working on my profile i got to :8 deadly(pwnds) without haveing anyfriend over(iam so lonely) and of coruse timespiliters i had a good one on there time spilitters 2 and fiture perfect i played i love the 3d graphics on there and i got over 3 billon kills on TS2. TSF i got like 3 months ago iam pretty boss like 9000 kills right now or lower dont know for sure but you knowif it was a choice i had to make it would problay be perfect dark Becuase(dont get mad) The n64 was gay and outdated in 2000 but you go to look at perfect dakr and see the grapocs forthat time and all the other things you could customixze your person andget up to 8 bots and 4 people 12 PLAYERS!!!!!! that was alot back then and it doesnt like you create a map like halo or time spilitters but you got sweet weapons and hell of that you could hold two weapons pretty sweet
also if i needed to pick halo or metroid i would have to go with metroid its beacuse it gos moree games and its older plus halo only gots like 2 games and halo 3 commin out so it would problay own it but metroid for the classicls yes i would pick that robot gilr :D

I totally agree with you, Metroid has a history of gaming goodness that still manages to be excellent even today.

Score:Metroid uses history, more games, and more variety.
Halo uses realistic physics,lots of weapons, and vehicals.

I'm not a big fan of either really or any of their installments, but I prefer the first Halo(Have yet to play Halo 2) to any Metroid game.

Why isn't any letting Condition Zero be an option. Not the best graphics or whatever but it's just about the best onlie game ever. with probly at least 15,000 people playing at any given time!
