Yeah, with FTP theres no lag time, no page to load up. It just sticks the files you want in the correct directory.

Why make life harder? Its cool that you only use HTML, but that may be why your site isnt anything special, no offense. You should use both, i know enough HTML so i can go into the code to fix anything thats wrong, but i wouldnt want to build a page from top to bottom with it. As the british say, i "cant be arsed" to do that.

yeah. I use Dreamweaver 3 personnaly. But whatever you do, dont use Front page. Front page is to web publishing what QuarkXpress is to graphic design. Front page is to web publishing what poop is to humans.

Beware.

All of them use HTML. They just use an HTML Editor. But yes, I just type up the HTML. It usually turns out better that way. And how do you upload? Maybe you should look into that a little bit more before starting a webpage.

I didnt I just tested it out on a txt file so what is the best webhost???

Nik's friend: we got a .com but it only forwards the origonal page to the .com! so say we had www.littledevil.geocities.com or homestead ect, it just uses that page and makes it into a .com
but we need a really good webhost to put the origonal on then we can make it into a .com!
we want to use something like homestead, geocities, or angelfire, but minimize the adverts and maximaze the webspace. must accept html (no drag and drop)
Do u get me?
