To tell you the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if Childhood's End was never played at a Maiden show ever again. Most of Fear of the Dark tends to be discarded by most fans so they're not really songs they'll want to play.

Next thing they should try taking out is Hallowed Be Thy Name. I know the song Iron Maiden is far too essential to be taken out so I won't even suggest that. Fear of the Dark will also be hard to take out since it was even played at the Somewhere Back in Time shows and that setlist was to cover 80s Maiden.Personally, I feel that if you take out Hallowed be thy name, you need to replace it with Childhood's end.
That's their loss. I'll get over it, I suppose.
You can't play Mariner and When the Wild Wind Blows on the same set, as they're the long epic ones that they have. I'd also substitute Run to the Hills for Flight of Icarus - their first chart hit after I was born. They should have played Flight of Icarus at their Somewhere Back in Time shows.
I agree. I'll just stick to teaching my niece to sing it and throw the horns.
If I do get in gear, I'll see what I can do at bigger tournaments. Magic's meta should be interesting considering the diverse decktypes that can be used and can prove to be very powerful.
I see what you mean. Still, I've put my name down for the pre-release. Thankfully not everyone knows all the cards in the set and will pretty much be on equal ground to me. What I might want to do is have a practice game next week prior to the pre-release just to get myself warmed up.Fair enough - I still play, but nowhere near the tournament level that I played at.
Ah, so you're getting really serious with this, then?
Today is the first cricket game of the Saturday season, where I'll be playing (instead of scoring) for the 2nd XI, against Pershore 2nd XI. Pershore have just come down from Div 1, while we've just gone up from Div 3. Talk about a baptism of fire!
Now to make sure that the book looks good when I'm not playing.
