Oh, I don't know. I woke up on Sunday and promptly killed a templar in Jerusalem. I was running across the rooftops and one of the rooftops just happened to be occupied by a Templar standing in front of his chest, looking stoic. He met a silly end, after I barrelled into his chest, feet first.

Yes, but the birthday on Saturday means that I can't buy stuff now, in case people have bouight me stuff that was on the gift list.
They better had. If not, then I must. :O

So far, I know I've been given a Gorillapod for my camera. there will be pics for my birthday, so I must make sure that the camera is charged :)

It could have been a games workshop. :P I was stuck in that shop for an hour two weeks ago because of a friend of mine talking about getting into Warhammer.
Well, that was what got me into D&D, so it's not all bad. On a similar note, my ex-girlfriend's birthday involved RPing and I took over, thus probably pissing her off.
And every time I talk about Magic at one game shop, I'm getting bombarded with information about cards I don't even know about at all. A friend of mine was kind enough to give me some of his old Magic drakes and wurms, even though the latter is rather inconsistent for what I'd relate to dragons.

Yeah, but if you tried to make a magic deck from those cards for just wurms, drakes or dragons, you would suffer - they cost so much to play and building up a quick stockpile of them isn't going to happen. Sure, if you live long enough, there's little that can be done against you, but the tactics are limited.

And recently I've had more ideas for karaoke. Dammit, we need a Summer meet. Fuck you London Olympics.
Care to share these ideas?
Scotland? That seems to be the general idea.

500 Miles (I'm Gonna Be)?

Try going to a nude beach and see a good looking one there. If you somehow succeed, you win.
That's a harrowing thought.
I wouldn't blame you for not trying it at all. Would I do it in reality? Hmm...

That's like considering visiting a whore. You like the idea of sex, just not the idea of paying for it. Then it puts a quick trip to Mrs. Palm's into context :P

Goblin decks are amazing. When I still played Magic I had a Goblin deck with all kinds of Goblins. Of course, the Goblin King was part of the deck as well as a mystic compass (turn any standard land into any other standard land -> using it to turn any land the opponent might have into a mountain). And I also had a Shivan Dragon included, just for the lulz.

I just ranked up to Level 11. Brass Knuckles, cool.

Also, I really hope someone answers this, but when is your voting power supposed to rise? I know when you get a new Rank in B/P (Private, Corporal, etc.) your voting power goes up, but I also thought it went up when you ranked up a level, and yet when I went from Level 10 to Level 11, none of my voting power raised. Is that normal or are you supposed to get a rise in vote power whenever you level up (like I thought was supposed to happen).

Your voting power rises with your Experience points. While Experience points do have an effect on your level (the more experienced you are, the higher your level is) the level does not have a direct effect on your voting power.
I don't know the exact formula for the voting power, but it rises faster when you have less Exp (so, the more Exp you have, the slower your voting power rises).

The B/P rank gives you a bonus on your voting power. So, your base voting power stays the same, but your total voting power rises due to a higher bonus from a higher B/P rank.

Gosh, I hope all of this makes any sense to you. ^^

Some are more or less typical songs but others provide a refreshing change. Probably best not changing drastically so this was a safe move.

If you're going for Goblins, might I recommend red / black, as most goblins tend to reside in there. Single mana is for the comparative novice, though I do have a treefolk deck, which is just green.

Dauntless Dourbark - */*, where * is equal to the number of treefolk, plus the number of forests I control.

Only half of that, I believe. :P

Your base voting power creeps up gradually with every deposit. It's exponential, so the more deposits you have made, the less it increases with each passing deposit.

Every B/P rank you increase, you get a bonus to this Voting Power, to reach your total.

Total VP = Base VP (Experience based, maximum of 10) + B/P Bonus (up to 60%)

The maximum total voting power you can get is 16 votes.

I don't really listen to DragonForce unless it is on GH/RB games, so not sure I will hear it for a long while.

Heh, he'll be happy to arouse a dragoness, though.

I guess so.

We have ban tools. Once they're on the list, they can't post there until a mod takes them off.
Now that's good. There's nothing better than starting a chat day with some serious /kickban, haha.
And we only have bans; no kicks. So if you got banned, it may not be easy to come back, unless we feel you can contribute to the chat better.

Now this is even better. But if you ban a user from a chat, he will get kicked, right? If not, a ban would be quite useless against spammers. So that's why I wrote /kickban. It used to be a kick followed by a ban. At least in the chats I used to frequent when I still hung out in chat rooms.

I hear Goblin decks do well. I could go with that. You could suggest a deck mixing fire with plains or something but after my experiences with multi-energy decks in Pokemon TCG a decade ago, I think it's best I only go with a single mana type or now.
Goblin decks are amazing. When I still played Magic I had a Goblin deck with all kinds of Goblins.
Looks like I know what I'm building.

YAY!

Not bad, but I was never a fan of goblins.

You know that you just lost 20 sympathy points?

I just really want to thank Haggard and Coop for answering my question about the voting power I had on the last page. Really cleared that up for me both of you (and if anyone else answered and I missed you, thank you too).

29th Birthday

I may not have got all that I wanted sporting wise (no Colorado Avalanche in the playoffs and the New York Yankees lost last night, to open the season), but at least I've just heard England win the second test in style, Kevin Pietersen blasting a six, to carry England across the line.

Cheers.

So it's your birthday Coop! Wait, that birthday thread of yours called you Coop83 so what do?

The only YouTube videos were appalling sound quality of a live set, so I missed out there...

Try Cry Thunder and Fallen World. They're on there just fine.

Good, that should be easy enough to remember.
I'll check in later on. Got to find 3 more flags in Kingdom, to complete that medal...

Well, I need to unplug the Wii and get the PS3 fired up. Having some good times with GameCube games right now.

If you're going for Goblins, might I recommend red / black, as most goblins tend to reside in there. Single mana is for the comparative novice, though I do have a treefolk deck, which is just green.

Yeah, red / black sounds about right. However, for now I picked up the Venser vs Koth to kick me off. Although it's said some of the cards aren't tournament legal for a certain format, I'm only going to use these for casual purposes.

Dauntless Dourbark - */*, where * is equal to the number of treefolk, plus the number of forests I control.

Actually, Treefolks are another brand of creatures I've expressed interest in.

Huzzah! I am now 10th on the all time B/Pers list. Now to consolidate this before Bahamut performs the update. Happy birthday, Coop!

Excellent!

I can't stop hearing about Game of Thrones. I suppose I should try it out but I already need to try out Doctor Who.

Well, the user can still view the chat room but can't post anything.

Well, that or Treefolks.

Well, as it is only 10 episodes for series 1, I recommend Game Of Thrones, it is brilliant.

Series 2 is showing on TV right now, so I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD.
