I've never hit a six - I'm not underestimating your skills at all.

I'll let you pick. You know more than I do.
Fair enough, I'll let you have a bat, then I'll chase.
OK, let's remember that for when we CAN have a game of cricket.

Cricket ball or tennis ball?

And I need to go ahead with the annual presents.
Annual presents? Hmm...
Yes, I always give her the same present.

Ah, I see.

Sky is showing some of the races, but I don't get that. I watch the BBC coverage, when it's live. Just got to wait for Monaco.
Don't have Sky either. RTL covers the races for I think over 20 years now.
We've had the BBC do it since the 1950s / 60s and then ITV took over for about a decade in the late 90s, before the BBC got it back 2 years ago. Now F1 has sold out to Sky and the Beeb only gets about 10 races of live coverage.
RTL is a free TV station and they cover the whole race (except for the commercial breaks). I even can watch the HD broadcast for free. But in a few weeks my cable network is going to change that. They want me to pay 4,99 Euros per month so I can watch a few TV stations in HD. Totally not worth it...

It's only worth it if you're going to watch everything in HD, so sport, movies and documentaries that need HD.

Naaah that's no good.

I'm watching the boss battle on Youtube right now. I don't know what the plot is like, but I have to say that he does look really weird. Like ... 2 dimensional and he has a massive sword underneath him? Wtf?

Not sure who to love right now; HMV for the £6 CD sales on many metal CDs or the label Peaceville Records for making many records on sale for a good price. Now this is the kind of stuff that will get people to buy more music.

Listening to:

Caravan - In the Land of Grey and Pink. Not one I actually own but it's on Spotify so I wanted to hear it seeing as self-titled is really good.

I imagine a lot is needed to be done in Canada, even a Newgrounds meetup!

To be honest, I think he's stuck there.
His claws aren't stuck (you cannot see them on the picture, but they are there).

No but his face is.

Wi/Ht? meet up with just the three of us.
YAY!

Hey, we're sorted then.

Bah! And besides, if it was still around, it would be in the 10s, making it a lot easier to pass through. I only have 50-60 to enjoy with the new level icons.
The alien hominid weapon was cool and so is the necronomicon. And I also will get another scythe, which is awesome. Pandora's Box is meh and the golden levels are not too cool either. But level 60 looks much better than the old one.

I'll admit the box is iffy but if you imagine it as something so powerful you cannot see what's inside it, it works. I too find the new golden icons to be weaker than the older ones but if they had kept a sword or two other than "The NG sword", it would be a lot better. Replace the silly angry face staff with one of them.

Because the auras now define who you are.
And before that they defined our voting disposition, which nobody really cared about as well.

But now the aura terms are more meaningful.

Yeah, Cait Sith doesn't count at all. It's hard to take Moogles as serious main characters. What would you think if they had started using Tonberries and Cactuars as playable characters?

Definitely yes! Especially the food is nice, except for the Shark Fin Soup that I saw at one point, of course. But you have to be carefuly, sometimes the food is so damn spicy that you can't even imagine it. I like to eat spicy food, but once I couldn't finish my meal... should've bought something to drink as well, haha.

True. But as far as I know he doesn't speak german on those. :P

Yeah, if we go to Canada we would like to travel from the east coast to the west coast. Something that can hardly be done in 10 days.
My parents haven't thought about going to Canada before. If that was next year's holidays, I wouldn't mind going as well.

Maybe you should give them a very subtle hint. ^^

No but his face is.
Maybe he dug himself a nice cave to rest his head?
And yet people will continue to walk on him. Not a smart move.

Well, I asked what he was doing there, but as I've said, he seemed to be very unresponsive.

Hey, we're sorted then.
Now we just need a time and a place.
England next year?

England is a big place. :P

But now the aura terms are more meaningful.
That's true. But it won't stop me from changing my aura every time I level up! :P
I'd rather you keep with audio aura.

Yes, it seems to be the most fitting. But it's not easy being green... I mean, I don't want to have a green aura all the time.

It's only worth it if you're going to watch everything in HD, so sport, movies and documentaries that need HD.
And for all this I don't need the "HD basic" packet they are offering, because they rarely show it on the stations in said package (well, except for movies, but I rather watch movies on DVD or BluRay anyway). However, I still have other tv channels in HD, where they show sports and documentaries.
By the time you need it, the terrestrial channels will have switched to HD feeds for free, so don't bother.

Exactly. I was thinking of maybe getting Sky, so I could watch the Bundesliga. But on the other hand, there are tons of live streams out there, some even with english commentary, which is SO much better than the shitty german commentaries we have...

God no. I'm not missing any practice for this and I took the ball to the knee, before carrying on. I'm solid, me.

We'll see. It might be difficult to explain to the coppers why I'm walking around London with a cricket bat.
Why should it? Sure, one could use a cricket bat to hurt someone but that's not your intention. Just explaining "We're playing some cricket" is good enough, right?

Yeah, but I just have one of those looks about me.

Dammit, you know me too well.
I've been there, done that and I have a few T-Shirts on that ;)
Cool, I'm on your T-Shirt.

Now that I wouldn't be able to understand. I'm sorry, but one of my characters speaks Eisen (Basically 17th Century Germanic) and if we can communicate to GCSE poor standard, I might be able to get a drama dice for use later in the game. I looked stupid, particularly in front of a guy who got an A for his German... Sure, I looked better than those who couldn't speak a word of it and the accent was alright, but I'm nowhere near how I needed to be for my character.

I'm not intentionally trying to be an asshole when I ask this, but why do people strive for arbitrary online statistics? Literally nobody but the user themselves even cares to take notice and it accomplishes nothing. Time would be better served elsewhere, wouldn't you agree?

I realize my level and whistle level etc I use to strive for these things and have long since stopped caring, although I do still deposit exp, because why not.

I do it because it takes no time tbh, flash movies aren't really long these days, some can be fun to watch. As for deposit, it takes like 5 minutes, and being on the forum, well, if you look at my posts, I only rarely post more than once every day, I do other things after I have finished this post, when I'm not busy, I look on the portal, I play games, I look around the forums. I somewhat agree that the stats go unnoticed (also, as someone who isn't known are well as the others here), no one cares, its just there isn't it? I do plan to retire from the stat whoring, but at this moment in time, I feel no need to.

I don't know if this makes any sense, I just talk blah sometimes.

Done it like that before. These days my achievements are rare. Only going to get the odd VP milestone, level ups, EXP milestones and post milestones. Might slip in to say I'm a certain rank for posting but I only saved it for something special like top 10 posters. Right now I'm #8 (*burps*) and I'm slowly reaching myself to poxpower which then I'll almost have 30k posts.

Good! I'm uh, 19 ranks away from there and have two inactive users to pass within two weeks time. Still going to be a while before I even get there but I'll rely on others to go away.

I'd say you have balls of steel but we're talking about your knee here. Maybe it's hard as iron?

Yeah, but I just have one of those looks about me.

If you're concerned about your own appearance, how about I take care of them? Or even better, let Luis take a cricket bat.

Cool, I'm on your T-Shirt.
