By the looks of it by tomorrow morning I shall have finally reached the rank of Private First Class. It's not a particularly high rank at all, however this kinda stands out to me as the first intentional rank up I have experienced since 2009, when I reached Police Captain and after 475 or so more BP disregarded the UJ section until a spammer had their account deleted, adding blams to my account for the fourty or so flashes of theirs that I had downvoted and getting me out of the Police ranks, thus ending my time with the NGPD, after I had effectively given up on B/Ping. After a few days of moderate voting, I once again became inactive, however in the past two days I have accumulated around 90 points, proving that just checking back occasionally is all that's necessary to begin rising through the ranks again, as I intend to do. :D

Supreme Commander is reachable. Just keep voting and you'll get it. Don't forget everyone on this site starts with 0. The Level comes with deposits, so voting for the flahs will get you there and Level 18 is just down the road for you.

After a particularly disappointing morning in the portal (with a lot of missed points), I finally managed to get the final five B/P necessary in order to attain a new rank for the first time in quite a while. I expected to get it as I slept last night, as there were eight Flashes I had outstanding votes on, but I got just two points from all of those due to the high number of low quality flashes passing, however eventually I got there. :D

This one is worth paying attention to since this is Blaze Bayley's band before joining Iron Maiden and he's doing a lot to enjoy himself despite leaving Maiden in 1999. A lot more can be said about him than that worthless punk Paul Di'Anno.

I've noticed the opposite, especially yesterday. I was voting 0/1 on about 40% of Flashes coming in, and I got just three blams, as opposed to 26 saves - a three-frame animated GIF even passed, and there are some Flashes just on the day that passed with scores of 2.3 or such non-borderline scores and have now dropped down by an entire point or so. I know the same happens every day, but yesterday it just seemed to stand out more.

Today they seem to be slightly more plentiful than on some other days, actually, I only have 8 (to 24 saves), which is 1:3 as opposed to my average of roughly 1:1.5, but it's far better than things have been over the past year or so. It's incredible how skewed it ends up considering on many days I end up voting blam on far more submissions than I do protect. Hopefully things are on an up, although I'm not sure.

I think the only way to improve it at this stage is raise the save mark slightly - even if the change itself doesn't have too much of a difference the mere fact that it has been raised will make people believe that blams could now be more common and thus vote more fairly, rather than simply fiving everything under judgement in order to raise their save count. Of course, that's just a theory, perhaps that wouldn't be enough to shatter the five-spamming culture that many people seem to find themselves in.
