He was meant to get something else out according to his Twitter. He seems to do fine with the vlogs but I don't watch them since I don't need him to go on for an hour about one film.

Make it 1 1/2 hours for his Breaking Dawn vlog and that's for a movie just under 2 hours. I respect the guy but this is getting ridiculous. May as well have made it a live broadcast, although he was drinking to get over his horror with experiencing the film.

I feel burned out from icon modding so I started my Skyrim fun on Thursday. I find it funny when I burn out from icon modding. It's not making an excessive amount of icons but rather when I have to stop for a while whether it be a trip or sending off my laptop for repair. I'm sure I'll get back to the full swing. All I need is some competitors below. :P

His videos are usually around 5 minutes so it's all within decent timing. Well, he can't have them for long considering he has a lot to do on Destructoid as well.
I've just got into the Jimquisition, I love his rants and I always remember to thank god, for him. Also, before I started watching Jim, I always thought he was hated, how can anyone hate him?

Maybe pre-2011 he was more controversial. I recall some of his rants being about how people are hating on the new SSX game solely for visuals and not gameplay. I'm sure his rant on piracy in early 2011 also pissed off some people. Oh, and he did refer Zelda fanboys as "the biggest fucking idiots". I like his gaming interests since he's very open minded about video games. He'll have fun with Angry Birds on his smart phone, he'll have fun with the latest COD game and he'll also give love for the smaller games. Oh, and bonus points for him for actually being funny on his own behalf.

Well, Disney don't make the best of decisions for sequels, unless it's Toy Story.

I'm putting main quests at the bottom right now. I did the same for Oblivion so why not do it again? Well, except the fact that beating Oblivion's main quest got you powerful armour and weapons but what's good in that when I did everything at that point? Maybe I should finish off the main quest sooner than later. For now, I'm mainly wanting to go quests from The College of Winterhold.

Maybe pre-2011 he was more controversial.

Spoony has badmouthed Zelda many times, although the difference is that Jim Sterling works as an editor for Destructoid and has several big roles.

That's during the weekday. It'll be difficult for me with all the interviews going on.

But it is their fault for it to crash constantly. No getting out of that one.
Opera rarely crashes on me. And if it does then it has to do with the poor flash support in Linux.
Also, I'm using Opera since version 5, so that's a really long time... ;)
I use Windows.

Opera almost never crashes for me when running Windows.

I know you'll shock us all eventually.

If I would tell you then it wouldn't be as shocking anymore. Plus, I really have no idea how I should shock you. Or why.

There's not much in it - a return from Worcester to Liverpool against a return Worcester to Manchester. You're talking a train to Birmingham and either a coach or a train onwards.

I've just thought - this morning, I gained enough experience to pass ayegowj. This might not seem like much, but that means that as of this morning, I am officially the 100th most experienced user ever to have logged on to Newgrounds.

No longer need I add one to my experience rank, no longer need I be ever so slightly miffed that the official site is lying to me, as Bahamut's update shows me at #101, while I see #100 on my profile. Those days are happily behind me, starting this morning!

Most tracks on Toxicity are good to listen to. Perhaps I'll get their self-titled album at some stage, but I like this and Toxicity at the moment.
I still enjoy Toxicity a lot. Self-titled is worth getting for sure.

I've heard a few tracks off it, just never got around to getting the album itself.

Mind you, this week appears to be quite musical - 112 tracks have found their way onto my iTunes Library and I'll be getting a copy of the Discovery Boxed Set later this week :D

American Anthems II and 4 Beatles CDs which I'd never borrowed from Dad before... strange.

I was up to 22,222, but I'll get back there in a few minutes. I'm sure you'll do what you have to do.

I'm approaching the top 6,000 experience and nearing the 2,000 posts milestone. One day they'll be impressive, one day.

Exactly - we never went out there on day 1 thinking that these milestones would just appear overnight. They have taken time and effort.

Haha, his latest Jimquisition had him saying "Fuck you Sony, fuck you Nintendo and FUCK YOU EA!" It's OK, he'll still get their games to review. I look forward to when I receive some promos for album releases and I give them bad reviews because I didn't enjoy them. Chances are they won't speak to me again after it. :P

I understand. It should only be £5 in HMV so it's worth it.

It's a good reason for this though, with SOPA going to fuck everything up. Jim is slowing becoming one of my favourite internet reviewer/rant person, I would hate for all his episodes to be gone just after I got into them.

Anybody interested in a small meet up either on the 6th or the 7th before the match?
Were that my money would allow it - I am struggling to make financial ends meet before the January meet in Manchester, so I'm still a maybe on that front.
See above. Maybe the place of the potential meet up has to be moved to Liverpool.
There's not much in it - a return from Worcester to Liverpool against a return Worcester to Manchester. You're talking a train to Birmingham and either a coach or a train onwards.

For me it would be cheaper if the meet up would happen in Manchester (duh!), but if Bahamut can't make it that would be a pity.

Also - on a totaly unrelated sidenote - I still think it's hilarious how "Worcester" is pronounced "Wuuster". It's like writing "ghoti" and saying "It's pronounced 'fish'".

Maybe I will visit you in Liverpool, then. A return ticket isn't THAT expensive and I have a whole day to waste after all. The match doesn't start until 20:45.
I'm becoming more and more weary about possibly having a job by then. Considering I have three jobs to hear back from, it's likely I could start soon. I'll have a definite answer next week but then there's the chance I could have yet more interviews. How desperate are you to see Liverpool itself?

Is there anyting worth to see in Liverpool? Google image search gives me 3 pages of Liverpool FC before showing me the a picture of the skyline. Lol.

We're in a sad age for the internet when IE can be defended.
True. :(
At least IE6 finally dies out.
But AOL lives on. Well, at least they have the IM service.

AIM is shit. Also, they had that annoying ad back in the early 00's with that yellow man making noises...

I use Windows.
Opera almost never crashes for me when running Windows.
Either you've dodged every bullet or Opera is paying you to defend them. :P

I would be happy if Opera would pay me, but no, that's not the case. It just never fails for me. :P
Well, never, except for when web programers are too stupid to code correct HTML and they then make use of browser sniffing to lock Opera out of their web pages. FAIL!

How else will you shock us?
If I would tell you then it wouldn't be as shocking anymore. Plus, I really have no idea how I should shock you. Or why.
You better come up with something.

This leaves the question "Why?" unanswered, still.

In the UK I bet they have set the bar at that level, but I doubt Berlusconi has the decency.

Also: Germany 3 - 0 Holland! Sorry, I just had to do that! :P

Grrrrrr!!

Well I haven't seen the match because I don't care much for the friendlies to be honest (matches are usually boring as hell). But from what I heard Germany fully deserved the victory. Holland has really been playing crap lately. Lost to Sweden, tied to Switzerland, lost to Germany... if they play like this at the EC I doubt they'll make it through the group phase.

Doug Walker is terrible these days. Did you see Suburban Knights? My god, the shit factor that film exceeded Seltzerberg. Couldn't even stand watching his videos since and now he's on a heavier decline with heavily repeating his old meme-like jokes over and over again and now starting to steal jokes from the internet or blindly throwing in clips. When you have three episodes running with at least one Monty Python clip thrown in (as great as it is), that's when you should start freshening up your show a bit. At this point there shouldn't even be anything for his NC videos to review.

I didn't watch Suburban Knights, no. I was interested, but I just never got to watching it and forgot about it.

Anyway, I remember most of his older videos were pretty good and well watchable. He had decent opinions on things and occasionally he had some good jokes.

I also still like Spoony's main videos, but he hasn't really done anything in a while. I'm still waiting for the next FFX-II episode.
He was meant to get something else out according to his Twitter. He seems to do fine with the vlogs but I don't watch them since I don't need him to go on for an hour about one film. That's another reason why I stopped watching NC and Linkara since they couldn't justify 30 minutes of reviewing one thing.

Well he did a one and a half hour review of Twilight: Breaking Down recently (together with Linkara and JewWario live in video chat), which was waaaay too long in my opinion. I did actually sit through the whole thing (not in one sit though) because it was pretty funny. But I really hope he isn't going to make this standard, because in that amount of the time I'd rather go watch the film myself instead.

I just wish he would cut back to 15-20 minutes again. That's an okay sit for the viewers and provides him more than enough time to express his thoughts. He doesn't need to cover every single minute of the film.

Never heard of Jim Sterling, I think...?
He's a review editor for Destructoid and does weekly videos for his Jimquisition series. It's like my gaming rants but better. His videos are usually around 5 minutes so it's all within decent timing. Well, he can't have them for long considering he has a lot to do on Destructoid as well.

Oh I see. Well if it's only 5 minutes I might as well watch a few. Any recommendations?

And did they also add the ending with Saruman taking over the Shire and then Frodo and co. come to save the day? That would've been an hilarious ending to the trilogy :p
It was a little more than that. :P

An additional 15 endings? :p

Out of curiosity, is there a European equivalent for Thanksgiving? I'm gearing up for the US version and it's going to be a busy day of family and food, I can feel it.
