Don't worry man, there's enough dead accounts up ahead to get you in the top 80 eventually. Even enough for top 70 for you. For me, there's only like two completely dead accounts above me and one is gonna take 7k more EXP just to pass. Eventually, I suppose.

Who knows, lol. I do not keep track of every post that gets deleted. If I lose posts, I lose posts, I do not care that much if my post count has drops really, haha.

Yeah mine has dropped periodically too (granted I've also been very inactive in the forums compared to even last year). You just get used to it after awhile. If you consistently post you'll more than likely get your post count back up if it really matters rhat much to you. Mine was well over 16k before and now I'm at like just under 15,700.

If the original system was still in play many of us even if we were consistent would be in our teens, and if really lucky early 20's not to mention we would have a shit load of level 9's and 10's.

Just imagine how great of a gap it would be now between level 9 and 10. I mean, it already was ridiculously large before the redesign.

It's just people having their accounts deleted or their posts wiped. When a user's posts are deleted all of their threads are gone too, and if you posted in those threads that means your posts are gone as well. It sucks. I can understand people wanting their posts gone but to me the BBS is a fascinating time capsule and it sucks to see it filled with holes, and of course it sucks to have my own posts removed without notice. It would be nice if the process could be reworked so threads stay up with a blank OP rather than the whole thread going down.

The most popular thread on the VG forum used to be the old xbox gamerscore leaderboard, but then the user who started it (Jawdyn) had his account deleted, and hundreds of pages of other people's posts are gone alongside it. The newer (now defunct) leaderboard gives me mad nostalgia when I flick through it, so it's a shame to see the older one gone forever.

Same with private messages, I have an IRL friend who had his NG account deleted and all of the pages upon pages of retarded nonsense we used to message eachother is gone forever too. I miss it.

I go through phases where I don't post much but still log in every day, and that's when I notice my post count is almost constantly declining. Homicidee also had his posts wiped fairly recently and I'd posted in a lot of his threads so that put a nice dent in my post count too. I think everyone should have the right to wipe their posts but it just stings a bit when they cause collateral damage, like they're hurting NG itself in a tiny way.

I missed that level I think even my alts are way past it but it is rather sweet.
