Don't tell me they're not a good band to see live. I've got to see them live someday and my next opportunity isn't until whenever they release another album.I'm not telling you they are a bad live band. They just are not the right live band for me.
Hopefully I get enough enjoyment from them whenever I see them live.
I just don't like it when the voice is so much in the foreground that it drowns out the other instruments. I rather listen to songs where the voice is almost drowned out, so I can at least hear the music. ^^
I'm sure some of their other albums have the sound production that meets your needs.
Well, you can always give them a second chance. If that fails... Listen to the whole of Traveller? :PIf I find the time, I might do that. ;)

I may have become a trifle obsessed with The Irons, but 31/07/11 will be my first gig of Iron Maiden's that I have been to. I have only ever seen Alice Cooper live and the guillotine was awesome!

I may not be skilled with photoshopping, but changing one number isn't THAT hard. :P
Wow, you actually agree with the Metallica part?I'm sure Iron Maiden have lesser known songs but Metallica have enough recognition.True that.
Well what can I say. One of the most succesful metal bands (if not THE most succesful) hardly has any "lesser known songs", except for some B-sides maybe.
And some songs from Maiden aren't well known because they also have a lot of shit in their portfolio. Yes I know, St. Anger and stuff. But that's ONE album, while Maiden has to cope with "No Prayer for the Dying", "Fear of the Dark", "The X Factor" and "Virtual XI", which all are mediocre at best.
Hopefully I get enough enjoyment from them whenever I see them live.Don't tell me they're not a good band to see live. I hope so, too. They are definitely a band you should see live at least once and I am glad I saw them, even if the spark didn't jump over.

Rounders? I didn't know it existed until I looked it up. Yeah they are pretty similar.

Ah, it was supposedly apart of British Common Law.
And let me guess, open hand is more okay than closed hand?
Yeah. It's a slap with an open hand and a punch when it's closed.
I highly doubt it's ever been put to the test, except in medieval times maybe when it was normal to carry around a bow. If you carry around a bow nowadays I bet you're gonna be arrested for being in possession of a deadly weapon.
So you are not even allowed to have a bow even for hunting purposes?
I think I'd puke at the smell of that.
Nah. It smells like fish. If it smells bad then it is rotten.

Sorry, I won't cover their B-Sides at all.

To be fair, Maiden have recorded more albums but they're still far better than St. Anger.
Hopefully I get enough enjoyment from them whenever I see them live.I hope so, too. They are definitely a band you should see live at least once and I am glad I saw them, even if the spark didn't jump over.
Quite a funny statement but I'll take your advice.

Sunday could see the Lakers pack their bags - boy did they miss Artest yesterday.
Maybe baseball is a simpler version of rounders, but not cricket :PRounders? I didn't know it existed until I looked it up. Yeah they are pretty similar.
Yeah, that's the comparison I always make if someone says that Cricket is like Rounders. The bat in cricket is much bigger and so is the ball. If you can hit a cricket ball 300 ft, you're doing really well. 450ft diameter is the cricket field, so the longest you'll have to hit the ball for a six is 200-220 ft.

Thanks, it's been a long fun road getting there, staying up there is easy but sometimes you feel a bit sad on the road because users will delete WIP pieces to put up a full one. I kind of enjoy being able to compare the WIP to the complete piece every now and then so I can see what changes have been made.
