Well, as I am not aroused by dragons I say that review mods are more sexy.
But we got a lot more than just dragons on the icon moderator team! Like exotic women, such as the lovely Reaneanea.
I can't see any of the other icon mods. There's a big blue dragon in my line of sight.

Bahamut, move over!

Review mods are sexier. This is my official vote! I'll log in daily to vote for this, just like those knobs at 4chan, that log in *ahem* daily to vote for Trollcar :P

Fine, I'll log in daily to vote for the icon mods. That'll cancel yours out.

And you can't even spell her name right. Renaenae is lovely, yes.

It's her fault for picking such a hard to spell name.

I'll take my chances.

Of course I could also... make sure you do not see Bahamut there.

Monty Python - the silliest thing ever on TV.
Something as silly as that can only be made by the British.
Indeed. We have a skill for it.

A skill? You British people are silly by nature.

No, we need Synthesizers! Gotta get either Fro or Sir-Nuts to play one.
Forget the synths, get me a Theremin!

Yes! If we're gonna revolutionize metal with triangles, might as well go all the way and use a Theremin as well.

Alright, anyone here who knowns how to play one?

So far it's 1-1.
I know I've won.

Just like the Americans won to England a couple of weeks ago? ;)

It's WAAAAY better. Vista sucked ass in my opinion. I got a laptop with Vista and it just can't handle doing two things at the same time. I keep getting doesn't respond messages everywhere.
Ugh, I do get not responding messages quite often. Maybe it is time for me to get Windows 7 if it's more manageable.

I didn't get them nearly as often on Windows XP. I probably would've switched to XP if my laptop had Vista installed, but since it had 7 I wanted to give it a try. So far I'm happy with it.

Let's see... Processor is 2.20 GHz and graphics card is intel int gma 4500m I think. Does that make sense?
2.20 GHz? I take it you have dual core. As for graphics card, hmm, I'm always unfamiliar with what's good and what's bad but I wanted to know what you had.

Yes, dual core. Is that not good?

Yes alright, but like I said I already have other hobbies that require spending a lot of money. And if I buy games, I'd rather buy games for my N64 or Gamecube (even though they're hard to get nowadays).
Well, if you're interested in Steam sometime, be sure to let me know. Just don't be like Haggard and completely oppose it, you hear?

I won't be opposing it. I know I had a discussion about it with gfox long ago as well, but since he hasn't shown up in months I'm not sure what it was all about anymore.

Yes, but they're way too expensive right now.
I find them to be affordable and worth it for the quality.

I'd rather stick to DVDs at the moment who cost half as much and still have the quality I'm used to.

How many Manowar tickets are there?
Three :p
So I can take Haggard and Coop to see them. THEY WILL NOT SAY NO! So yeah, Manowar tickets it is. When do you plan to see them anyway?

I got a confession to make :(

I don't have Manowar tickets, but I was hoping you wouldn't pick my N64. I would want to take that thing with me into my grave. I'll make sure I'll have Manowar tickets when I'm gonna have that dragon tattoo set.

Yeah, but shapeshifting makes that kinda easy.
Yes and?

It's cheap to call yourself someone who can disguise really well if you can shapeshift!

Doesn't sound like much to me. I'm sure she'll be impressed with what I have.
There's still a lot of fortune left there from the fabled 'golden age' of the BBS.
But Gagsy signed up in 2006. I felt the better days of General forum was in 2005.

Yes those were the days. Although I think I've seen many people mentioning 2006 as the golden age.

Yes, but going through the entire game that way adds like ... about a dozen hours of unrewarded searching.
Try saying that to gfox. He spends far too much time on some games just for these things.

Now he spends far too much time on his marriage.

Holy shit! In most Final Fantasy games you're good when you're around level 50.
Indeed but for FFIV, Square wanted a ball crushing hard game. If I can beat FFIV DS, I'll feel like even more of a gamer.

Lol, it'll be quite an achievement.

Though the problem with that is that I generally lose motivation for finishing the game when I'm spending hours upon hours doing sidequests.
That's why I'm always dependable on sidequests. If it's good, I'll do my best to complete it. However, if I don't really like the sidequest, I'll put it aside.

Yeah I should probably do that as well, if I ever want to finish Final Fantasy Tactics.

Lol, what the fuck was that all about? That guy with the black hair talked as if he was stoned or something. Weird dialogue.
Exactly, and that's why The Room is infamous for how bad it is. However, it didn't stop Luis from greeting him at Comic Con.

I'm actually getting interested in seeing that movie now. Also did Luis meet that actor?

Noooooo! You don't understand! You can't leave me like this!
Nope, it's too late. You've got to spend more time with your girlfriend and look forward to the future.

Nooooo I don't want to think about my career and having children yet. I'm still young, aren't I? :'(

Hey, last year I was willing to give up NG when I thought I was in love. Too bad it didn't work out in the end.

Yeah I heard. Too bad, but there are more dragons in the sea.

I believe I ranted on that. If you have a read here, you'll find out how inconvenient I found it to be.

Very inconvenient. There were a few more thing indeed, but that was the one I had the biggest problem with.

Yeah, I like how you can pretty much find anything by just typing in a title or a lyric.
I dunno about the lyrics but title, definitely. However, when it comes to obscure bands, you might have troubles finding their music on YouTube because hardly anyone will know them.

Well I don't listen to obscure bands often so I don't have that problem.

The only thing I dislike is when people put up homemade covers, guitar hero runs and live version with poor quality. It gets more and more difficult finding a good, original version of the song that way.

We're different because we have an actual dragon in our band.
Well, I suppose having a dragon in a band counts as something. Maybe we could mix power and death metal together...

Great idea! Maybe pour a little lounge in there and I think we got ourselves the ultimate metal mix.

10 bucks that gfox is not gonna do that.
Who would be sane to believe that he's going to do catch-ups these days?

Hardly anyone I'm guessing.

Still, it's strange that after all this talk about him, he still hasn't showed his face yet. I believe he used to drop in sometimes whenever there was a discussion about him and confirm he was still alive and well.

And if he does come here, I'll have an insane amount of catching up to do in one day 0.0
Haha, wouldn't we all? :D

It won't be later on when you're heading face to face with other active depositers.

Actually, as long as Nostalgia Critic has troubles with Tommy Wiseau, I'll keep making fun of him and his movie, unless I get bored.

If that's the case, he must be in the minority in Scotland for owning a car, even if his car is ancient.
Yeah, has something to do with people in the north being so poor. In the south (ie Edinburgh and Glasgow) people are more wealthy, so they also own a car.

Well, I don't really care if that's true or not and I'm sure he's happy enough to have a car that gets from point A to point B. Hell, I'm amazed his car has lasted for so long.

Why not care about the evenings where you have nothing to do for the next day?

Of course. Megadeth are one of the key bands in heavy metal as well as sharing several similarities with Metallica.
Yeah, they definitely played their part in Metal History.

They sure did and Dave Mustaine has had one hell of a ride in heavy metal.

There was one? Either I missed it or the joke fell flat.
Yes there was one. And it was really hard to miss. :P

Yes but suffering with the cupid for over 100 days is still horrible.
I almost hate to say it, but I think we again can agree on this.

What do you expect?

In other words, none of the review mods are sexy. :P
That would mean Coop and NEVR are not sexy if they act as review mods?

That's right! If they become icon mods, however, they will redeem themselves. Well, maybe not that much.

The Review mods not being sexy is something caused by Malachy. He neutralises sexuality in a smaller groups (i.e Review Mods), where there is enough sexings of awesome BBS mods to cancel out his negative impact there :P

Malachy for unsexiest mod 2010, then?

Why me on drums? I'd rather play the guitar. :(
We already have two guitarists, so you will have to play drums. Or bongos.

But I am a guitarist as well. I don't want to play the drums even though drums are a cool instrument. But still, my guitar skills are much better than my drumming skills.

Also, keep up that attitude. We need a drama queen in our group to get some media attention.

Oh, all right. "IF I DON'T GET TO PLAY THE GUITAR I QUIT THIS! *snivels*"

Alright, I admit, that was amusing. It wasn't too generic of a use of Benny Hill.

Good.

How old is his car then?

Well, you could be out late having a few drinks.
But not if you have to get up early the next day.
Why not care about the evenings where you have nothing to do for the next day?

Well, usually you will have somthing to do next day during the week.

Yes but suffering with the cupid for over 100 days is still horrible.
I almost hate to say it, but I think we again can agree on this.
What do you expect?

I expect the world to explode in 2012 if we keep agreeing so much.

All you need to see is me. ;)
But I'm not aroused by dragons.
But you should at least think "Yeah, Bahamut is really good looking."

I don't know if you are good looking or not. I don't have that much comparison as I don't know too many dragons.

I suppose Jack is Jack Daniels Whiskey. What's SoCo?

Yes Jack Daniels and SoCo is short for Southern Comfort which is a liqueur that is spiced and in similar tastes as whiskey, but not as harsh. SoCo with some lime is pretty popular.

Hoorah, 7k experience. I've only missed 70 exp since I've joined, so that's quite good. However, I'd do anything to get it back again. 70 exp is the difference between being a level, and not... For 7 days :P

So, I have classes tomorrow again. I know I'll see my friends again, I know I'll see my teachers again... but really, can't I stay home for another month? Dammit.

You covered it well - if you had said "that dragon", it would've been easier to figure out who would make it.
That would have been too much of a giveaway.

Well, if he had said someone blue, I'd be in doubt...

Yeah, I remember it being more active in my lurking days. But we are still a great place to hang out at, despite missing some users...
Yeah, it would be nice if they could return. Still, not much we can do and let's be grateful that we have several great loungers around here.

True. And really, if I won the lotto, I'd gather all of us in England for an awesome Wi/Ht week.

That reminds me of one picture by FatChaos.
Where? Which? When?
Dis guy. View at your own risk.

Among the top three dragon artists.

Nobody hates your flashes, though. Your flashes >>>>>>>>> The Room. ;)
I don't expect everyone to like my flashes. Infact, I only expect a minority to enjoy it. Sure, 110 faves for flash author is quite a lot but I'm still an underground artist.

And underground idle artist, you mean. ;P

Hahahahaha, yes! That video is great, his Wiseau impersonation was perfect!
I wish I could do an impersonation of Wiseau that well.

Hey, an idea of your 101st flash?

Hopefully. I think I always miss deposits, when I haven't done so yet. I'll try to keep it up!
Yeah, I too get paranoid about missing deposits. I sometimes think I didn't do the 5 votes for the day at all or slipped and didn't vote for the last flash. The only deposits I miss are the occasional ones for my alts but that's alright for me.

I'm pretty sure I'll end up forgetting a few deposits while I'm in classes period. I'm a forgetful person.

I guess I'll just wait until my father returns from Chile (he and my mother will go there on the 3rd and will return a week later) so we can talk about buying a new computer. I'll hold my expectations, although he complained about this computer today, so it's a step forward! :P
Here's hoping you can get a better computer. TF2 is far too demanding these days, even though it's a 2007 game.

Nah, maybe it's just my computer that's way outdated. :P

I don't think he'll quit as a whole. Even if he makes only those odd posts here & there, he'll still be around. Lurking. In the shadows. ¬¬
Well, the last thing he posted was in my birthday thread.

Which is a plus. :)

But really, even if I have a busy schedule, I'll try to catch up whenever I'm available. I'll have classes now again, and next week I'll have classes in the morning and afternoon (12 hours away from home). At night, if I don't have that much homework, I'll catch up.

Ok, then say hi for "all the Wi/Ht mates"! That covers it. :)
Yeah, that works!

And hey, try getting a signature from everyone there! Put it in a wall or something! :)

From 2 to 3 years. But I'm immortal :P

Of course. What would be from the pigeons without their master?

I'm still not sure if I REALLY want to join the Brazilian Air Force, but it would be great if it actually happened. There's a base I my city, and a couple in the south of Brazil, where I have familiars. I have to think about this...
Oh, then now I see what's going on. Think very carefully about making that decision, since it's obvious it will affect the rest of your life. Independent of whatever you choose.

Sure. I still think it's a good idea, but I'm still young enough to pick my decisions over what I'll have for a career. But I still want to do something I like.

Come to Brazil! ;P
Hell Yeah! That's one of MY dreams :P

Great, Brazilian pigeons are waiting for you. ;P

Well... we could just go to the airport, then. :P
This is a small schedule of what I would like to do if I ever travel to Brazil:

- Visit Rio and São Paulo

The two biggest cities. But don't forget Brasilia, since we are the capital!

- Take a snapshot of the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer)

I've done that when I was 6 years old, I think. ^^

- Get deep inside of the Amazon jungle and watch the river.

Tough. You'd have to walk a lot, take a lot of vaccines and... don't die. :P

- See if I have luck enough to meet Ronaldinho (if he is in the country) or Xuxa :P (same with her, lol)

Xuxa lives in Rio, so it will be easier. Ronaldinho was in Rio a while ago, he even was in a concert with 50 Cent. o_O

- Being in the legendary Brazilian Carnival

Hey, another gringo!

A pretty FABulous one!
Fab aura is so kickass that it crossed the dimension of computers to the real world.

Wait until Bahamut hears this.

Well, whenever my entire family travels, we always find a new solution for our two cats, but it always involve someone. We won't let them stay outside for so long.
I'd be nervous to leave a cat outside. Every time people tell me they do that I just think, if I had a cat it would totally run away. Cats don't like me.

Hmm, my cats stay home at night, during the day they are free to... do cat stuff. =P

Oh well, nevermind.

Well, we still have the local championship going on, so we will play with our "bench players", mostly. And it's the biggest rivalry match this Sunday, and playing without the full team is risky. =/
What match will that be? Internacional against?

São Paulo FC And yes, it'll be one hell of a match.

And Pato, Nilmar, Lúcio, and even Dunga played for us. ^^
Dunga himself played?

Yeah, back in the 90. Hey, he even supports us. "My contract with Inter is for the entire life". :)

They've been broadcasting it here since 2005. Football always gives more audience than anything.
I think they might broadcast it if dutch teams ever participate, but they seldom ever do. Last time we won something big in Europe was in 2001 or something.

Ouch, that's a while ago... I never really paid attention, but do the Dutch teams do well in the Champions' League and Europe League.

Give me a quick review on how they are doing nowadays... ^^
Yeah in 1995/1996/1997 they were probably the best team in Europe. Won the Champions League first, then got to the final the year after and they had all kinds of great players like Patrick Kluivert, Marc Overmars, Edwin van der Sar, Edgar Davids and Frank de Boer. Pretty much half of the Dutch national team was playing there.

Wow, all of them in the same team? That's quite a dream team.

Then they were all bought by Barcelona, Man Unt and other major teams in Europe and since then they haven't performed that well in Europe, except in 2004 I believe when they reached the quarter or semi finals of the CL (with Ibrahimovic, Chivu and some other good players).

Ah, that... We're used with this in Brazil, most of our great players go to Europe soon after they have their big break. Pato went to Milan with only 18 years!

Currently we're still waiting for their 30th championship, but they keep coming in 2nd for the past couple of years =/

We came in 2nd in Brazil's championship last year. We've been waiting for our 4th title for 31 years now! :(

Hopefully. We have some great quality players in there, and most of them should be playing in Europe by the end of the year. Lets see how they're doing in four years time.
I'm sure the major European clubs would be very interested if the team performs alright.

Which is bad.As i stated above, they never stay in Brazil for that long...

And hey, ever noticed how he only picked the teams that were on his left side?
Hmm now that you mention it...

Personally I was already under the impression that there might be some person manipulating the octopus' pick. Maybe by placing different types of food, but it could be that someone knew the octopus only went to the left. Still, that person would have done a pretty good job predicting Serbia and Spain winning.

Heh, yeah. We've said here that the octopus isn't the one we should be praising, but the guy who puts the flags on the left side. :P

Hmm, maybe if they held it like a mini-world cup, on different places. Example, all the teams travel to a same country, and play their a bunch of games there. I don't know, maybe it would work, but not everyone would be interested in some matches...
They could to that, but that would mean the players will have to leave their clubs for quite some time. Unless of course the FIFA also decides to halt all the national competitions, but then we'd need a couple of weeks extra in May and June to finish the leagues.

Just like they halt them when we have qualifying matches with the current system. I'd like it.

Although our main transportation system are and will always be road transport. We barely have trains, and the nautical one isn't that big everywhere.
You would say that travelling by ship might be handy in Brazil, but then again the car is probably much faster if you drive along the coast.

True, but our roads aren't that great either. Not all of them have "double tracks", some of them have major holes, some get jammed during busier days, the ones in the North / Northeast are lame... and we have to pay for them. =(

Indeed. We have a skill for it.
A skill? You British people are silly by nature.

Not as silly as Michael Schumacher, trying to turn Rubens Barichello into pate yesterday.

Yes! If we're gonna revolutionize metal with triangles, might as well go all the way and use a Theremin as well.

Alright, anyone here who knowns how to play one?

They're easy to play. The notes are remarkably similar to a trombone, in that you don't have set notes to play, more a sliding scale.

Indeed. Looks you've got a lot of experience by playing cricket while avoiding hitting your eyes for7 years. That's a lot of time.

When I was young, the best advice I had from my dad was to put my face behind my hands, so that way I would catch the ball. For the first few years of my career, it never worked, as I'd stop the ball from hitting my face, but not take the catch.

Then I took a really sharp catch with no time to react and I've taken about 20-30 catches since, which is pretty good, even though you can go weeks between victims.

Indeed it is. Thank you.

I was actually going to do another post for both of you but I couldn't resist anymore. I just left the computer and prepared myself a delicious tea of chamomile with spearmint. That tea always get rid of my indigestions.

I second this statement.

Why not care about the evenings where you have nothing to do for the next day?
Well, usually you will have somthing to do next day during the week.

But not on Friday or Saturday.

What do you expect?
I expect the world to explode in 2012 if we keep agreeing so much.

I agree with what you said. XD

But you should at least think "Yeah, Bahamut is really good looking."
I don't know if you are good looking or not. I don't have that much comparison as I don't know too many dragons.

There's Gagsy, Fagamut, Wyvern, EmoDragon and... That's about it.

Yeah, it was a Futurama reference.

Of course it is and that's why I instantly thought of Futurama when you said Doop83. Infact, I'm surprised Coop hasn't made an alt for that name.

It was actually around the same time, yeah. On Friday, I saw your picture and later that night, that guy drew a picture for me. It was one of the greatest days of my life! :D
Greatest? Might be overstating by just a little. :)

Nope, I'm not overstating at all. It was TWO adult rated pictures of myself and one of them had me getting it on with a dragoness while the other showed how proud I am with my naked body.

At 8/1/10 01:27 PM, Lizzardis wrote: You passed 7000 Experience Points. Good job!

Hoorah, 7k experience. I've only missed 70 exp since I've joined, so that's quite good. However, I'd do anything to get it back again. 70 exp is the difference between being a level, and not... For 7 days :P

You've missed less deposits than I have. :)

At 8/1/10 05:33 PM, ThePigeonMaster wrote: Like I said to Bahamut days ago, getting a job these days is kinda hard.

It sure is but I can no longer complain. Still, my friends are struggling to get a job and I sure hope they can get something soon. One of them has been unemployed for 3 years now. However, I'm not sure if he's persevering.

True. And really, if I won the lotto, I'd gather all of us in England for an awesome Wi/Ht week.

Now I hope you win the lottery. I guess England wouldn't cost as much as us all going to Japan. If we do have the ultimate Wi/Ht? meet up, myself and Coop will treat you all to Alton Towers! Isn't that right, Coop?

Dis guy. View at your own risk.

Indeed, he knows the true beauty of dragons.

I don't expect everyone to like my flashes. Infact, I only expect a minority to enjoy it. Sure, 110 faves for flash author is quite a lot but I'm still an underground artist.
And underground idle artist, you mean. ;P

Idling? Do I get any hats for idling as a flash artist? :P

I wish I could do an impersonation of Wiseau that well.
Hey, an idea of your 101st flash?

Nah, 102nd. I may do something for Clock Day but it will be on my alt!

I'm more forgetful when it comes to depositing for others. There's a chance my mind can slip and some people lose a few deposits because I was a forgetful bastard. However, I'll help out certain users when they need someone to deposit for them.

Here's hoping you can get a better computer. TF2 is far too demanding these days, even though it's a 2007 game.
Nah, maybe it's just my computer that's way outdated. :P

I'd say it's both. My laptop gets the occasional struggles with settings it's meant to be good with. I think Valve need to give it better optimization.

But really, even if I have a busy schedule, I'll try to catch up whenever I'm available. I'll have classes now again, and next week I'll have classes in the morning and afternoon (12 hours away from home). At night, if I don't have that much homework, I'll catch up.

You are excused if you don't do much posting as a result.

Yeah, that works!
And hey, try getting a signature from everyone there! Put it in a wall or something! :)

It would be nice if I got people to sign something but what the hell can I get them to sign on?
