For this year, yeah great but if you are going to say that he's going to have a better career than Hammerin' Hank, he must be consistent as Hank was. More like they are just trying to patch some holes in their line-up than trying to make a push in the AL Central. :P

Well, he's been pretty consistent for the first 9 seasons, hasn't he? People are starting to talk about him, like I was after his second season.

Between him and Ichiro, these two guys are making a march on the record books. You might say the same for Jeter as well (Couldn't resist a Yankee shout in there :P), but for now, it's mostly the Yankees record book. When he passes 3,000 Hits in 2011, people are going to start considering him for a threat for passing Pete Rose. I'm not sure as yet, so we'll see.

Yeah, but you consider that they got Peavy and Alex Rios last year, which gave them a boost for 2010 and combine that with the acquisitions of Jones, Vizquel and Mark Teahen at third base, they're starting to build up something good.
