Well, if you're playing against the Seattle Mariners, for example, the better option is the left fielder - the Center Fielder has a pretty good arm, but Ichiro Suzuki in Right Field has probably the best arm in the game. Veteran hitters tend to know where the better places to hit the ball are, so go for that side of the field. Between left and centre or between right and centre can be the best, because you increase the potential to put it on the ground, thus making it a hit, rather than a sacrifice :)

But it's kinda hard for me to understand as well. Not many people nowadays can speak "platt", and platt itself has so many dialects of it's own that it is really confusing and hard to understand people from certain areas.
It's easier for me to read it, like in the "Wikipedia op platt". :D

I can also follow it pretty easily when I read it. It looks just like a funny dutch dialect.

Lol. Funny that they actually make such decisions depend on the opponent players strengths and not have a general strategy like they have in most other sports. But it makes sense I guess.

It's just weird to suddendly hear a word and understand it in a language you normally don't understand.

Nice. I can pretty much follow a text written in dutch as well. I'm pretty sure I don't read the words how they are spoken normally, but that doesn't really matter. :D

I´ve heard of that term. And yes, you could compare it with that I think. Although I´m not sure if that term is also used a lot for jokes and mockery.

Hey, he's on my block list.

He's not that bad at the moment - it;s the backseat mods that I don't like - the ones that send me PMs saying "Here's some abusive reviews for you" - To me, that says "I've found some abusive reviews, it's your job to delete them, hop to it.

I moderate on my terms and possibly those of Wade and the other mods as well. If you want a review or two deleted, there's a little "X" in the bottom right of every single review. Click that, it works wonders. It wouldn't kill you guys to use some manners either, as I'm a human, not a machine.

Scouting reports are something that they tend to focus on really hard - I've sen players poring over lever arch files that are full of notes on opposing batters so that they know how to pitch against them. Sometimes even adding their own notes.
