May 2009 Wi/Ht? Regulars update is up!

Also, the day after obtaining 3,000 medal points, I reached 4,000 medal points. We are going through the points awfully quick now, so after announcing 5,000 medal points when I get it, I won't mention anything else until 10k.

Yeah, the hit detection in that game is a little off, but besides that, it's alright. Right now, I'm finding the last medal a NIGHTMARE to get, especially when the first health HURTS YOU!

Domo-Kun Angry Smashfest! Nice game. Good references to many old games like Golden Axe. A bit too hard, though.

Yeah, some of the enemies in the second half of the game are a pain, but once you get through them, it's not that bad. Right now, I just need to collect a few more medals and I'll have them all. :)

Excuse my absense over the past few days. Yesterday was a special day here in Holland called Queensday which means a lot of fun things to do all around the country. Which explains why I´ve barely been online. Unfortunatly someone had to drive a car through a crowd. He killed five people and nearly hit the bus with the dutch royal family and so most events were cancelled.

Anyway, I´ll just say congrats to anyone who achieved anything notable in the past few days. Most especially Molotov on his 7,000 Flash Reviews who certainly would´ve won the Achievement of the Day award.

I understand totally - I saw the video and was totally horrified. Like I said in Wade's thread, it's only a shame that the driver succumbed to his injuries, rather than being able to face the justice he deserved.

After playing Barbarian Bob at least thirty times through, I've finally achieved Invincibob, which brought on Barbarian King, and catapulted me 200 medal points further than I previously was, and above the 5000 threshold by 85 points.

This will probably be my last medal point milestone that I'll post in here until 10,000, since they're so easy to obtain.

Yes indeed. The most terrible thing is that there were many children among the crowd, of which some will probably be scarred for life.

Also, now that the driver died I guess it will never be clear what the actual intentions of the driver were. It looks like an attack on the queen, but he wasn´t actually that close to hitting the bus. It seems like he just randomly drove it through the crowd, trying to kill as many people in the process as possible. Nobody has any idea whether there was a group behind this or not.
