I remember back in '07 when I was a new user. I just tried to get a higher post count and started posting in almost every thread in the general forum. After about 2 days, I got banned for spamming. Although I don't remember exactly which of my posts got me banned, I know I deserved it.

You can still post a lot if you do it carefully. But the problem with this, is that you just can't post carefully in certain threads because they are just spam+stupid comments. It's like there's nothing you can say.

Will the General forum ever be a nice forum to post and discuss?

Why not make something of a list?

I mean usually I see 4-5 people post "Congrats to..."
Why not have a weekly list that one, maybe two people compile from the information given and have it in a nice and orderly fasion.

Something like:

Blams
Protect
Reviews
Posts
EXP
and so on?

I'm not saying that you all SHOULD do this, I'm merely suggesting.
I'm sure some of you are going to shoot me down and say how dumb of an idea, for that I am sorry. 8(
