The point of this thread is to post your accomplishments, such as leveling up (either b/p rank or experience level), or reaching certain points in stats (like 40,000 blams).

You have 2 posts and 40 experience points, which isn't exactly an accomplishment, rather something that can be done in 5 minutes (if your barely starting an account).

Come back tomorrow when your level 2 or after you have at least 100 blams/protects.

There is other things you can get such as a certain amount of reviews for movies and/or audios or if you reach a certain amount of bbs posts. Just don't give crappy posts like, lol, or cool, try to make them a little big, otherwise that is known as spam.

on average you blam/protect 54.545454545454545454545454545455 times a day by my calculations

*chuckle* Well, yes, that would be borderline, and I wouldn't vote high on a flash that really *is* a piece of crap, even when the author tried to make it better - there is a certain level of quality that a piece of flash should have to to be saved.

But then, if a flash really is that bad, it's usually hard to determine whether the author actually tried or not, anyway; and one could also argue that putting effort into something also should include realising that your work still needs to be improved before it can be shown to the world.

It all depends on what you see NG as, I guess, but for me, it's not a general portfolio site where you can post anything, no matter how bad it is; it's a site that aims to collect flash content that reaches a certain minimum level of quality, so I don't really feel bad about blamming the really bad stuff, although I wish there was a way to distinguish between "I blammed this because I hate your guts" and "I blammed this because even though you seem to have tried, it's simply still not good". (Yeah, I know you can write reviews which will be visible even for blammed submissions, but writing a review for every submission you blam would be a lot of work, not to mention that given the amount of insults most blammed submissions usually seem to attract, I doubt that most authors even read those.)

Congrats tigerkitty. That's never been one of my favorite level icons but it's a lot better than the lollipop or swizzle stick. Won't matter much longer anyway. I'm eager to see these new icons let alone find out the new level our experience puts us at.
