Yes, it's late on a Saturday night... as I maintain it still is, damnit. Yes, I'm in denial that I'll be waking up in 24 hours or so for work on Monday morning and have yet to go to sleep for Saturday night's sleep (and then there's Sunday night's sleep to get, too). DAMN YOU, HUMAN BODY!
(Ahem)... anyway, I felt like catching up (somewhat) on both the EGRL and LUL topics. So sue me. Here comes some "from early January to late January catchup madness." BRACE YOURSELVES FOR QUADPOST. In 5.... 4.... 3........ 2............ 1.............

Not only the 7th, but aren't there like 5 of us right now who have the hammer currently? You, lightning, Myst, Crono, and myself, I believe? Or is it even more?
Seven as we speak and possibly ten in the not too distant future if the other three keep depositing. The current hammer wielders are you, _lightning_, Afterburner, Kronno, Myst, XwaynecoltX and myself.
How could I have left out Afterburner (~100 exp ahead of me) and XwaynecoltX (~200 exp ahead of me). Sheesh. #;-}>
Is that an option? Would admin delete his blams if he requested it? Didn't ramagi have her b/p points temporarily altered at one time?
ramagi had exactly (IIRC) 100 of her blams converted to saves so her blam and save marks were nifty while she was retired at 36,000 b/p. It wasn't really temporary, though. I'm pretty sure when she reactivated, nothing changed except she started piling blams and saves on top of those altered counts. She never swapped the 100 back, I don't believe.
I had my extra 2 saves deleted when I retired at 36k+24k=60k.
ramagi has extra saves right now that I believe she will have deleted once her blams reach TEH RETIREMENT ZONE PART 2. #;-}>
So yes, if Toocool wants his blams gone, it is possible that his request would be heeded. Not guaranteed, though.
Obviously, there are plenty of people, yourself and myself included, who have EGSC on just blams already.
Yeah but let's face it. Blam points are a dime a dozen for the most part. The only time saves will ever outweigh blams is when there's a "whatever" Day.
Yep.
But no one had it on just saves, so that's cool in itself, aside from still being the save king ever since he took over from ramagi and myself.
... and I doubt anyone will take the crown from Toocool if he stays active. I hope he does.
Yeah, he certainly deserves it, the crazy awesome-ratioed bastard. #;-}>
Groovy. I've got a reprieve, then.
Unless he picks up the pace again. What's your average point gain per day with the gfoxclock account?
I was just talking about that in the EGRL topic. 5-10 bppd if I'm lucky. But I haven't gained any in the past 3 days for example. Before that I gained maybe 15 on Sunday and 10 on Tuesday. It varies, clearly. gfoxclock is not meant to be a speed b/p account. Just a good, solid, 50:50-ratio-or-thereabouts experiment and relaxation tool.
But what difference to when my 60k b/p count on gfoxcook next gets passed by yet another b/per... does it make, though? O_o

When I speak of spurning blams while voting with gfoxclock, I don't mean I vote 2-5 on everything.
I didn't mean to imply you did. :)
No, but many often imply it about Toocool, and it's not true for him either, so I just wanted to defend us both just in case... #;-}>
Heh... sorry, no. :) If anything at all, I worship total points - but not completely, either, because I still vote 0 on crap that I know will be mass-voted in, too.
I've voted to save things I knew would be blammed plenty of times. And voted to blam some things similar to your above example, though not quite as many of the latter as the former. I never said the principle of the matter wasn't important, just that getting points while voting your opinion on flash movies and games is teh niftiness, and I like getting the saves more than the blams. #;-}>
Yep. Cept I should have been level 24 back in 2001, had I deposited every day in 2000 and 2001 and thus woulda been level 29 by now. Oh well. #;-}>
Whoa. x.x Yeah, I could be much higher if I had signed up for an account right away when I came to NG for the first time - I remember that the first flash I viewed here was The Welder (a friend gave me the link), but I didn't really check the site lots or sign up until four years later. Meh. x.x
It has nothing to do with when I signed up. I signed up 6 years ago as of 3 weeks from right about now. Had I deposited every single day, I'd have... over 21,500 exp right now. Instead of "just" 12,000.
9,500 exp was wasted because from 2000 through 2002, I came to the site maybe once or twice a month. I was a bad bad NG user. ;_;
On the plus side, when I got hooked on a daily basis in January of 2003, I had 900 exp (not a ton, but at least something), and I have deposited 99%+ of the days since then (just missed two days while out of town due a password screw-up while someone was helping me deposit). And from ~1000 exp that should have been 10,500 exp.... I have gone all the way to 12,000 that should have been 21,500.
That's an increase from 9.5% of potential to 55.8% of potential.
And every single day in my life that I deposit, I raise that potential percentage further.
If I can ever get it up above 75% potential or so, I feel I will have mostly made up for my past sins of inaction during the 2000-2002 dark ages of gfoxcook's NG existence. #;-}>
24 is my second fave after 16, so yeah.
I don't like 16 all that much at all. :)
....... oh... my... god. ;_;
Whew. At least ONE person on the site isn't obsessed with taking me down. #;-}>
*chuckle* No, I'm obsessed with taking MPA down. ;) No, just kidding. I don't think that's realistically possible.
10 exp above MPA lies gfoxclock, so... heh. If you take one of us down, you're probably aiming for the other one, too. At least on my alt, if not this account. #;-}>
...
Just kidding. ^^
NOT!
