well, here's what you, and anyone else can do if they only have MSpaint and windows XP. using paint, save it as a .png, and then right click on the .png, and do file > open with > microsoft photo editor. then go to save as, then choose a gif. mspaint saves things as gifs and jpg's horribly, but photoeditor will do a decent job from a png to a gif.
also, if that fails, you can download the gimp. its free and totally kickinrad.
