Fucking Cockroaches

I've been having this problem with roaches for about a month now and I'm just about had it with roaches.

They have been in my trash, dragging stuff away behind my entertainment center to build their Utopias. I have mostly been using chemicals on them (air freshener, spray on deoderant, hand sanitizer) to coat their food supply (an ancient piece of toast I dropped behind my little refrigerator I use to store caffeine supplies during LAN parties on accident when I was in 6th grade T_T). Nothing has worked against these fuckers except deadly force, such as a machete. I use a machete because I don't want to be anywhere near them, and I want to use something long to keep my distance.

I need somthing to kill these gross, hideous, creepy looking insects that doesn't cost a penny. Any suggestions?

Find out the the spots the roaches tend to be around, and nail a cockroach to the wall above these places, and write "DEATH TO ALL WHO LINGER" in roach blood. That'll spook 'em good!

The EXPLOSION would kill them just like anything else. But the radiation is what they are immune to. They shed their skins two quickly for the radiation to actually harm them.

Not if you lace them with some harsh chemicals (well, you may need not apply to twinkie). After they die I suggest if you can't kill the rest, find some toothpicks and impale the corpses of the dead ones and place them in cracks and corners as deterrents to the pests.
