I try to avoid shows like his like the plague. The fact that anyone puts this much weight on to what some stupid talking head pundit on a stupid show on a stupid network is somewhat, well, stupid.
Personally, they both could go fall in a hole, for all I care. The whole situation is laughable, for many reasons.
1. The guy is "pro-France" because it blew up a Greenpeace ship in the 80's.
2. Greenpeace accuses France of being a terrorist nation.
3. Greenpeace overlooks the numerous ecoterrorists and vandals that deface, rob, hurt, and even kill in the name of their agenda. So could I call Greenpeace a terrorist organization?
4. The fact that Greenpeace went to the FCC is appalling. Not only do they want to limit the rights of people to use their property, but now they want to get the government to step in and censor, violating Tucker's freedom of speech and MSNBC's freedom of the press.
5. The fact that Greenpeace is even using it's resources that should go towards saving the environment to do this.
So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we had the key...

The guy doesn't like Greenpeace, so he likes France for sinking a ship of theirs. It's the theology that an enemy of my enemy is my friend. Then again, the ship was sunk in the freakin 80's...
Basically, no one likes Greenpeace because they do crap like this. "Grossly offensive broadcasts"? Yea fuckin right. It's called free speech.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the environment, but grossly offensive? Come on.

I don't really give a fuck about the people or the fact he "supports france". Just the fact that he's a republican and he supports a terrorist act.
God damn that shit is funny.

You know, I wonder how many people would be saying the same thing if he were taalking about 9/11 in a similar way? (This is honestly just an idle thought)
But although he's only saying his opinion, to be honest it just seems like his saying anything to make headlines and get intrest in his show...
There are many truths in this world. No one thing is ever real. No one thing is ever right. No one person can ever know the whole truth, regardless of the facts they possess.

Well, the two are almost uncomparable. For a couple reasons, one, because Greenpeace is an organization and the US is a country, and two, Tucker lives in the US, not in France (Also, he is not a member of Greenpeace, comparable to him being a US citizen)
Saying that he supports the sinking of a boat doesn't mean the guy supports terrorism. It's moronic and foolish for Greenpeace to try to get him off the air because he doesn't like them. Come on, grow up guys. ill was right, spend your money on saving the environment, or at least something that matters.

I didn't mean that, I meant in regards to the reaction given. If he or (anyone) said 'I dislike America. Osama Bin Laden attacked America. I now admire Osama Bin Laden' I think that everyones (especially here on NG) reaction would be totallydifferent. But like I said, its just an id;e thought and not really ment for any critical analysis...

Nothing new. Vast majority of republicans supports our terrorist acts in Iraq.

I just wanted to look smart ='(
My point kinda was that no one is crazy enough to say they support terrorists who attacked us. People would go NUTS if he said he supports Osama Bin Laden, and everyone would hate him.

Indeed, Tucker needs to stop wearing bowties or shut the fuck up. I'm all for the environment, but all this shit like the ELF or Green Peace is uneeded and confuse the outlook of thier agenda.

Carlson, 36, is best known for wearing bow ties, formerly punditizing for CNN, and being called "a dick" by Jon Stewart.
Wow, his biography summed up in one sentence.

This whole situation is proof that nearly everyone in the world is retarded and undeserving of life.
My preferred outcome? Tucker sues greenpeace for libel, wins millions, greenpeace goes bankrupt, Tucker gets hit by a cessna.
The end.
