Mudvayne helped me see the light. I owe them. For saving my life.

A few years ago, all i was into was rap, Traditional ska(good) and shitty RnB and a bit of pop and some reggae.

Linkin Park, though it's not the heaviest band, it pulled me out of the slump, after mudvayne was on thier site, i got into them, then SoaD were on TV and they introduced the likes of Slayer, Metallica. Soon after, I got really into punk, i liked it allready, but just not as much until i heard NOFX. Metallica introduced Trivium, one of my now favorate bands.. Now all i listen to is the good heavy stuff and punk also the likes of classic rock (Led Zep, Pink Floyd, AC/DC).

The only good thing about the music i listened to then, was the fact that i got hooked on Less Than Jake which was a good thing.

And thats my music story until now.

the only problem I have with Linkin Park is every album sounds the same. Honestly I liked Grey Daze better.

for anyone who dont know who Grey Daze is, the Lead singer (not the rapper) left Grey Daze to join Linkin Park.

ad me to that.... but i'll be honest. i liked some of their songs at first. but then i started listening to Pantera, and i realized that none of Linkin Park's band members are even halfway mediocre, whereas every member of Pantera is a phenominal musician.... if they had left their bitching about non-existant wounds with their first couple of songs, and stepped up (a few big ass steps, that is) with their instruments, maybe kick out a few pointless band members, maybe that would make a little better. but of course, this will never happen. if we're lucky, they'll be gone in a year.

not to mention that guy couldn't possibly play the guitar to save his life. it's as if they all aspire to get worse at what they do.
