How old are you both?

I suppose you know how hard it is to be a thug in.... Let's see...

Raleigh North Carolina
And
Hinckley Leicester, United Kingdom.

Both at age 15.

Yeah, you both know the exact purpose of hip hop but too blind to see how it destructs music as a genre.

Talk to that kid Cajete in an issue I brought up with him, it's undeniable that it's changing music for the worst.

I've just read this full thread and what a piece of shit it is. You all talk like you ACTUALLY know something about hip hop yet all you are saying is conjecture, there's nothing here with substance at all.

hip-hop isn't just about guns or violence or pimiping ma bitches out in my ride with gangsta's and ho's. fucking hell man, real hip-hop came from the blues, onto scat, via funk then disco. thats the true side of hip-hop, the soul brothers man. Until you listen to your heritage as a 'black' musician you can not ever formulate an opinion as to where you are musically now.

modern day hip-hop is total trash, it really is. show me one artist in the last 5 years who has truly defined hiphop, what it was and what it is now? I can't think of a single person.

Breakbeat, another deritive of hip-hop came from guess where? FUNK. it samples james brown beats to fuck.

anyways go listen to some jurasic 5 or de la soul, decent hip-hop artist's who actually made fine quality tunes. then come back and show your appreiciation for your history. otherwise just fuck off and shut the fuck up.

wanker

Your pursuit of that style of music is what statement your making about yourself, especially since you've taken up the speech and everything.

move along, im a busy person.

Apparently not.

look, when ur into a genre where the is a type of slang, thats how u speak.

You don't know how it was established or what purpose it serves. It's most popular among young teens who never bother learning proper english. It's also easy and hip. You're only doing it because you think it's good for as far as you know, which is in a musical genre you know next to nothing about. Setting yourself up to an axiom of misconception.

and i am busy, u seen the amount of tracks i have? an here and varios other websites

Indeed you are busy, but busy with what? Nothing of importance, not even to you. Just a small hobby that brings pleasure, a lot like a murderer, and the praise you recieve is recognition to that prestige.

We didn't questions your ability to speak, we questioned your motive in making hip hop music and how it motivates you to think and speak.

The responses you give us are vague and you attempt to turn the tables thinking we're making shallow assumptions; we aren't.

By this statement, it appears you haven't even looked into the music I make, and why I have the motive to make it.

Once you're able to get off your high chair and label it racist reactions, try being as rational as we and answer. Whatever you tell us will probably make what we think of modern hip hoppers.

Got to love how someone who thinks they're gangster and cool is accusin me of disrespecting an entire genre. Gansta culture is actually bringin down the whole of humanity cos its all about violence and "ho's"

And if you think i dont know what i'm talkin about when some ragga/dancehall, artists like beanieman n that. Theres a track called shot the batty bwoi.

its brilliant, i'm gettin called a racist just cos i hate violence and stupidity in music.

Maybe someones tryin to troll me, but i cannot be trolled. I'm here entirely at my leisure, schooling you in how it is.

Alright, then since you're so big and hard, name me some rap artists and hip hop style artists that HAVE BEEN FUCKING GUNNED DOWN.

heres some, jam master j
proof
tupac

nuff said.

By the way, if you swear that times in an argument, it means you've already lost.

and no, i'm not disrespecting a "culture". Culture isnt about guns and violence and poinltess hatred.

i'm disrespecting YOU, cos you're a poser who is probably some 13 year old white kid who lives in a posh house, yet talks like he lives in compton.

and then you have the stupidity to try call ME racist, when you clearly know nothing about me and dont come here often at all.

I'm not anti black, i'm anti pointless violence and hate.

SHORT ANSWER IN CAPITALS COS YOU'RE TOO DENSE TO READ AND GET WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY.

YOU'RE A PRICK.
haha look here, u say IM a know nothin poser, O OBVOIUSLY DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT WHAT UR TALKIN ABOUT U LITTLE DICKHEAD! u ARE dissrespectin an entire culture u prick, rap aint jus about gunz and violence, shallow fuckin basterd, FUCK U

no, its not. but heres a FACT.

50 cent. ex crack dealer. been shot nine times. Now hes famous and makin money talkin a bit about his past life, bitches, and partying. If this kind of bullshit doesnt glamorise violence i dont know what does.

irony.

Eminem and D12. They talk about shit other than fly bitches and gangsta shit, and ONE OF THEM STILL GOT SHOT DEAD.

Fool simply doesnt get it, its not hip hop in general i dont like, its HIM.

Sure, maybe i'm just presuming that you're gonna rap about livin in the ghetto, guns and money, but maybe thats cos you showed yourself to be stereotypical:

If you dont like someone, they must be gay?

also, calling me a poser just cos i dont suck up mainstream shit is ridiculous.

You telling me ,that you, have never heard of the track shot the bwatty boi? My HALF JAMAICAN friend told me about this track. and writing a track about going killing the bwatty boi is not a new or outlandish thing, theres loads with that theme.

who's really the poser who knows fuck all about culture, never mind "black" culture.

sure, maybe you live in the ghetto, maybe you are actually not some little white kid, but it doesnt make a slight bit of difference to me.

ok ok ok... right.. theres no point arguing over this because we are from completely different genres of music.. i know the image that hip hop gives off and at times it cant be good.. but, its more than just a genre of music to the people who make it... i only got offended with what sum1 sed in the first place because im apart of the hip hop culture, this is my life, not just some hobby.. i actuly wanna do somthin with music. oh and nothin i sed in this entire forum or in the entire time ive been on any website has been racist, get that clear..

peace

Its probably not, but cos you dont like something someone says about something that you like, and because

COS YOU NEVER BOTHERED READING IT.ALL THE WAY THROUGH

you saw shit as being racist when its not. Not from me anyway.

Thats the point being made.

Yeah, you're right, hip hops image does have its bad points, but making more gangsta shit is not going to save it. Its blatantly time for the oldskool party music to make some kind of revival, like mc hammer with less cheese maybe.

I really, REALLY want to get involved with this flame, but I'm not going to. Why?

1: I value my ability to post
2: I've had more 0 votes recently from people that i've taken the piss out of than I needed and
3: Sometimes I just get tired of being a total asshole.

I've argued with ppl constantly about them sayin hip hop is garbage and it sucks.........let them say whatever they want...we as hip hop artist need to work together rather than argue and try to change ppls mind about it....everyone can talk like hip hop is bad..but i've listened to true hip hop...Nas ...De La Soul.... Floetry...Talib Kweli...Common...Kanye West....u can't say that they don't provide an image for true hip hop......

I Stand Firm For What I Say
