the zero can be used any way as long as we have the option... the wistle is for submissions that break the rules
Stop taking the internet seriously and enjoy clock day.

Actually, the slang term "emo" appears to be relatively recent. When I was in highschool back in the late eighties - early nineties, the only slang that existed for those kids were "goths". Their was a comedian named "Emo Phillips" at the time which probably originated the slang.

If you had said that you were in your teens, I would have given you some slack, but thats just sad.

I checked out that website. Its not particularly helpful and the integrity of the information is in question. However, it does provide a decent enumeration of the terms - albeit the definitions are a tad lacking.

I was a freshman in 89. Do the math.
of course, age makes you a qualified psychologist. As shown in your profession.
Job: Web Developer

The minor basically gives one the ability to identify disorders, but not treat them.

The Internet can be serious or frivolous.
Regardless of the site, be it academic, education, recreational, etc..., damaging the integrity of the site, by its members, is consided unethical.
I would hold the same level of distain for any group that attempts to undermine the credbility and integrity of any group they are a part of. By cheating in the Portal, the Clock Crew does just that.
Remember, that there are a large number of visitors to the site, that are minded to submit content. When they realize that the integrity of the Portal is constantly violeted - and the "score" is meaningless, they lose faith in Newgrounds.
I would never submit my work to this site. It would be an insult to my work.
I understand that this point of view will not be seen - cannot be seen - by the kids in the Clock Crew. Its something that develops with adulthood.
P.S. I'm attacking you by any means. I just selected this post to respond.

Gee, don't mess with this guy, he's the "Clock Crew" expert! Man, I know EVERYTHING about the Clock Crew, you can't stack up to this, bitch.

Darwin7Clock baby. That's me.
stop being so serious about it, it's only one day.
Cool, a couple clock movies get cheated in and you make up some psychological story. I can't tell who's the bigger attention whore, the CC, or you.
Your analysism and your outlandish response are both fundamentally flawed, because the Clock Crew is not a single entity, but a group of individuals with different ideals, behaviors, and mannerisms. We come from all walks of life, with varying amounts of talent and an unrelatedly varying age span.
The fact of the matter is that you're only typing this on the off-chance that one of the little automotons on this shithole bbs will look at your ideologue-constructed microcosm and latch on to you like you're their fucking messiah.
Any clock member worth his/her salt didn't join for the group mentality or free movie passes into the portal, but because he/she enjoyed the esoteric humor and irreverence toward pedantic shit that gets pushed through the portal every day, or else saw the untapped possibilities and used it as a new creative outlet.
Clock Day is a celebration of the anniversary of the original introduction to dadaist nonsense that invokes humor to the portal as well as being both a reminder of the Clock Crew's steps towards ending superfluos aggression on the internet and an anniversary of one of the largest flash groups on the internet.
Believe it or not, we draw the line at shitty flash without purpose. There's a thread at clockcrew.net as I'm typing this about being careful for what you vote 5 on, because Clock Day is often used an excuse to push crap through the portal.
Right now, our active members do not nearly outnumber the regular visiters to the portal, and yet in the first half hour of the grounds gold day we had more than a half dozen entries with scores over 3.5.
You don't have to try to piss all over our parade, you fucking hole. It's one day out of the year, and most people, anti-clock or no, allow themselves to enjoy it.
If you don't like it, try spending 24 hours away from this website that's supposedly weakend by a day set aside for artists to support eachother.
If you're such a fucking god you should understand the respect and admiration that exists between two artists and just let us be.
what forum did u copy and paste that 1 from anus hole?

Cry about it.
P.S.- The Clock Crew > Angry teenagers going through angst who have nothing better to do but take the internet way too seriously
Wow, the internet is a dangerous place.
Young men who previously had no social interactions can suddenly rule the eWorld with an iron fist, simply by trying to be more "elite" than others, as long as they'll never see each other in real life!
Polluting the Portal with bad submissions just to spite honest NG members... Man, I think mankind just de-evolved.
God fucking damn it I can't blam any of this crap

Maybe the clocks just all need to be ignored as individuals.
By cheat day, I guess that your affirming to Clock Day, and no, the clock crew does not consist of sad and pathetic children, it consists of of a bunch of people that make flash, and worship Strawberryclock. I too, at first, hated them, but upon viewing the movie B2, by coolboyman, I realised that the clock crew consists of a bunch of humourous people, Which, at that point, I learned to like them, and respect them.
Clock Crew is awesome, and happy clock day to all, and to all on the west coast, GET SOME SLEEP, I WROTE THIS AT 2:35 IN THE MORNING, and i'm going to bed after this has been posted, good night people!!

Gomorrah: That's probably true, but I'm not really sure about this. Especially considering that neither Molto Bene Rosso nor myself are members of the Clock Crew. But if you want to know my thoughts on it (which you most likely don't, but still), you can watch the movie I made for it. The link to it is in my sig.
