I'm here to offer you an opportunity to work for an actually animated movie.

If this is for real, you have to give more info... Like "I work by my own" or "I work with this commpany:" and "I'll pay for it" or "You'll have to work for me for free"

It might serve you better to e-mail a few of the top rated artists (that's a link to the list) and ask them personally or try to find an actual Flash headhunting service or professional Flash message board.

By the way; n00b means newbie i.e. someone unacquanted with whatever on-line service they are currently engaged with.

There's a guy called "Pen0r" that makes awesome Flash movies. I can't remember what his site is though. You should search it on google, I'm not sure he posted any of his Flashes here.

Ok, here's the deal for those of you wanting more info:

There's seven of us working at this project in a small group known as 'Deuce High Animations'. We've written a script, hired voice actors, and gotten permission to use music from some bands. In other words we've got everything except the animation.

But, see, we don't have enough money to start that part yet, so we were hoping to get a few more investors (with the short film) before moving on.

The reason I didn't mention money is because we've used it all. Once we get some more investors we can pay whoever does the short film. So it's sort of a catch 22.

Did I cover everything?

Oh, I see where this is going, you're going to try to steal animation by promising money at a later date, then taking full credit for something you didn't create and running away from the animator you will then owe a lot of money to.

maybei can help you out some more. how good of an animator are you looking for im sure this is a real movie then u want some good fucking ones. so heres another question what kinda of movie is this gunna be. like and action, comidie, drama, horror. etc. ?

even though u said there maybe money involved. if there is how much coudl you be talking about if you did get investors. like ife these investors did invest is the animator getting all the moeny or a percentage of it?

and i can animate stuff but im not great there alot more people here that can do better.

well, i'm not going to be a dick and throw you off completely, nor will i say "omg sign me up." this whole deal sounds a bit iffy. plus, you've just come to Newgrounds, and what you need to learn is, Newgrounds is a tight community, they don't accept outsiders immediately. if you're looking for some animator quick, i suggest you go somewhere else. but i assure you, if you stay here, build up some Newgrounds experience and reputation,, it will be well worth it, we have a lot of great animators here. but as far as i'm concerned, looking for animators and saying "we don't have money right now" equals loads of suspicion, you need to be a lot more informative and explain WHY a good animator should take the time to help you out. you haven't given any reason why anyone should help you.

There must be hundreds of hours of free animation on this site alone, and you all get suspicious of the one person who is actually going to pay you people?

I just... ok, let me explain. Good investors are REAL hard to come by, because they take convincing, but if you can manage them, then that's at least $10,000 in your pocket right off the bat. So let's imagine that your short film only grabs one investor, and you know what, let's say we picked a real cheap bastard, and he only gives us $1,000. Now, that is not a lot of money, but your film helped convince him, so you get maybe $100. We get a new computer, and you get a hundred bucks, everyone's happy.

Now, refresh my memory, what EXACTLY do you get for making a one of two minute short on Newgrounds?

Anyhow that's not the subject, people do these things for free sometimes (especially movies), that's true, but the thing is that they get to animate when they want and how they want, you're offering them to be told what to do by someone with virtually no experiance for free... now thing reasonably, who would take that?

Real movie = Something that people will pay to see at a cinema and lasts for like 2 and a half hours
Short film = Something which is shown in art galleries and film festivals

Which applies in this situation?

There are monthly 10 prizes of $250 and cool goodies given to the authors of the best flashes submitted during that month. Also, Newgrounds won't ask for any credit and they'll never steal a flash. You keep all the rights of your submissions, and stay as the only author.

Goddamn... I mean... I'm going to politely say this one more time.

We (my group) is making a full length animated movie.

We need a one or two minute short film to show investors.

Since I've told you guys so much stuff already, I might as well say the story:

It's a crime-drama about a man named Stix Leone who lives a peaceful life until one day his store is attacked for no apparent reason. He sets out to find answers, and in the process encounters mobsters, assassins, and corrupt bussinessmen. The script has some pretty kickass fight scenes in it, and some really memorable characters.
