Seeing as you can't even properly dominate the third world, I find that highly improbable. I have to admit though that this thread doeasn't hold its own. Labels mean little, if anything.

Most of Canada and Mexico is no better than the third world. We might have trouble with some of those Quebecians, though.

Well American is a name given because its our country not our continent, like mexico is Mexicans, Columbia is Columbians, canada is Canadians.

Basically the term has been adopted, and no since no one is offended by it, the name won't change. (Like Indian was changed to Native American)

People in India are still called Indians, that hasn't changed. And Native American has changed, its now called American Indian. I think the correct term for people whom are truely native to any American Continent is Native American. People whom live in the United States shouldn't be called American, because there is more than just one affiliation for the word American, or United Statian, because that blows.

I think we should be called by something that can only be used to justified upon as people from the United Stations, and that should USA Citizens or USA Unionists. Because Unionist can go for people that are in a work force union and citizen is anyone that is a proper resident to this or any other nation. But since USA is the board initials for United States of America, like there is the Republic of Central Africa and the United Emirates of Arabia (I think its called), so calling our nation the united states of America isn't a bad idea considering that or the former name of the Soviet Union, United Soviet Socialist Republics.

We could try to the rename this country, but that would take a lot of money, a lot of money we could use to make better protective armor for our troops, to save the environment, or to advance further is medical and scientific fields.

I think USA Citizen or Unionist would work out quite well.

Or we could call ourselves Central North Americans, since the United States is in the center portion of North America.

Or Maybe instead of calling our nation the United States.

We could call ourselves the Federal Union of Central North American States, the only problem is Alaska being too far North and Hawaii not really being a part of North America.

Perhaps we can call it the Federation of Hawaii, Alaska, and the Central North American States.

And for people temrs, the Central North Americans.

And about the United-Station/American thing I think its fine the way as long as you were born in North or South America you are a American and therefore you can call yourself an American its just people born dont want to so, theres no point in changing what Americans call themselves.
