Scripted cam

I am using a scripted cam in flash 2004 pro(or V cam) for panning around the stage and everything.
When I test it in the fla file all the panning happens with the scripted cam as it should;but when I play the movie straight from the swf file the there doesnt even seem to be a cam.
I know the actionscripting is right because it works in the fla file, just not from swf.
If you know anything about scripted cams please give any suggestions

Actionscript is still in the flash forum so this is in the wrong forum if you read the programming description it says keep actionscript in the flash forum

Nobody in the flash forum knew so I thought Id try programming

it doesn't matter it doesn't belong here and you realize you can't have something "work" in the .fla and not .swf because the .fla has no animation make sure its right with the big fat tutorial

What I mean is the cam works when I test the movie in the fla but when I go straight to the swf file their is no cam panning in it
