I really didn'r like that show that much unless that guy fell off the ladder =)
When i was younger i watched everyday to see if he would come in while she was dressing. alas, it never happened. nor did he fall off the ladder. na na na na na. remember the theme song? na na na na na way cool.
i blive that theme song is in one of the "good times" movies (1-15) i dun know which
lol i love those good times movies. they make me so happy.

other nick shows... hmmm....

I remember the funniest thing in the world (when i was little) was on You Can't Do That On Television would show a funny picture of a made up show and announce that it will not be seen.

One good one (that i almost died laughing at when i was 5, i believe) was they showed a picture of ET on the phone and the announcer said "E.T. Phoned Home and the Phone Bill was One Million Dollars willnot be seen tonight..."

I don't believe I explained it well, but if you watched the show hardcore then you know what i mean.

to those who say,'I Don't Know,' may green slime fall from the heavens and land on your face.
You can still find episodes on kazaa i found salute your shorts(recommend zeke the plumber) and pete & pete (recommend field of pete)

That was budnick and michael. Donkeylips & the others got to go to the beach for instructional swim while the two that "hurled" on ug's boots got to spend the day at the nurses office trying to break into the ice cream freezer.

What about that game show that was about arcade games. I dont remember what it was called, but I remember that I never missed an episode.

Also that game show where the contestants had to cross the moat at the begining and then a huge head would ask them questions. That was the shit.

I cant remember any of the names of the shows though!
Somebody refresh my memory please.

I miss a lot of those shows... I can't remember the last time I watched Nickelodeon. The Simpsons is still better than any show on there though, even Ren and Stimpy, which I loved. I'll never forget the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen or Space Madness.

Nickelodeon seems to be a haven of good shows to kill.

Ren and Stimpy- The absolutely hilarious shock cartoon full of disgusting sight gags and side-splitting exaggeration depicting the adventures of one Ren Hoek (asthma-hound-chihuahua) and one Stimpson J. Cat, not to mention hundreds of secondary characters (the fat lady, the firman who hates circus midgets, and of course, Mr. Horse), was a revolution in cartoon history. They laid the foundation for such other cartoons dependant on gross visual comedy, which brings me to-

Rocko's Modern Life- My favorite show of all time, this show featured an easy-going wallaby of the show's title, his best friend Hef, a fat, overfed steer who was adopted by wolves, and Spunky, the dog who would eat anything.

This is just a sample of the quality shit Nick dispenses with. Other shows that were destroyed before their time include "The Angry Beavers," "Roundhouse," "Ahh! Real Monsters," "Pete & Pete," "Clarissa Explains It All" (C'mon...Even if you hate the show, it was worth it for her Ferguson-oriented video games), "You Can't Do That on Television," "Salute Your Shorts," and another cartoon that seems to have dropped off of the face of the Earth, "Invader Zim". Was Jhonen Vasquez a little too "out there" for Nick executives? How is it that all this stuff gets removed, and yet the crap remains?

"As Told By Ginger"? What the shit is this? "Doug" was on entirely too long also. How the fuck did "Doug" outlive "Ren & Stimpy"?? I'm not all that big a fan of "The Wild Thornberrys," but Tim Curry and Flea demand respect. The "Amanda" show? Are Nick executives TRYING to cause the untimely deaths of their audience?

I not a fan of the "Rugrats," but they were cool at first. Now that there's 37 new characters (Kimmy, Dyl, Susie, etc.), the show seems to have lost some it's original luster.

The only reasons to watch Nick nowadays involve a certain yellow porous cube, and two fairly odd fairies. That's it. "The Brothers Garcia?" "Taina??"

Why? What did we do to deserve this?

Anybody out there agree with me? Anything I missed? (Besides "Hey, Dude"... I have no comment on that.)

Holy carp! I never looked at it like that. You are so right. All of the good shows that they had got kicked off to make way for bad shows. Invader Zim was so awsome. Ren and Stimpy, Rockos modern life and Invader Zim were a little too raw for Nick, so they kicked them off, which cost them so much money, because people stopped watching. If I had a chance to do something to the CEO of Nick I would punch him in the balls.

They should make a channel that is just a bunch of all the old good cartoons, better than Noggin.
