Copyright questions??

I am new here on the NewGrounds forums, but I've been animating for the past four years. I've never submitted anything, however, due to my fear of doing some naughty stuff according to copyright laws. I have to questions, please answer if you can...
1. I use Flash MX Educational Edition, can I still submit content with it or must I get the full version?
2. I want to use commercial music (e.g. Sleep Now in the Fire-Rage Against the Machine), can I use it or must I play some form of royalty?

no if you use their song they'll parachute in through the roof and shoot your computer before it fully uploads because rage againts the machine has millions of sattelites that track if any people are putting they're music in flash because your making crap loads of money due to the fact that people dont have to buy the cd's if they can download it off newgrounds.

nah your fine, you can put any music you want as long as you credit them and your not making crap loads of cash off the flash. and im sure you can submit with the educational version

ah they ussally just dont care, if your worried or something, just write "Music Copyrighted ***" to whoever in the credits

If you play a song sample and not the whole thing, they don't care. If they did care, they would probably give you a C and D rather than go through the trouble of sueing you. But either way, you still should give credit to the music artist.

If you are really stressed, you should check out the audio portal since there are thousands of royalty free music.
