The Ng Coloring Book Thread

Ok so rather than hog up pages with the same imagery on the artists showcase I figured that I'd make its own thread for it. I'm sick and tired of just seeing this flash forum used as just a place to advertise your so-called 'production company'.
The goal of this thread is to study the art of coloring. I'll try and post a new picture for people to color every week and if i cant do it or someone else volunteers to do so they can do it. So yeah your first picture to color is Noodle.
Use the link to grab the fla and start yer colorin'. When you finish you can just post it here. Creativity is not only encourage but highly recommended.
If this thread fails then oh well i tried to build a community!

probably you should get photoshop, its pretty good for coloring and stuff

probably you should get photoshop, its pretty good for coloring and stuff

Yeah I just use photoshop for things with shading like that. But coloring in flash has its advantages as well...

I can't shade =( I tried tutorials but they didn't help me out, i tried practising with a light source but still nothing good..maybe someday i'll learn =P

Hey here's mine. Anyway, I gave it an abstract paint job. Oh and Inglor, how do you make the outside glow like that?

I actually only used 3 colors in flash, then I exported it as .png and gave it the following blends:

Drop Shadow 75% alpha multiply
Outer Glow 18 size default color
Pillow Emboss 100% depth 5px size smoothed
A useless 100% contour
65% alpha satin, multiply
a 18% alpha gradient overlaw, blend mode darken, the black-white-black-white-black gradient
3px stroke, orange. 100% opacity.

Pretty good coloring inglor, i didnt know you had an artistic side. Anyways to the people posting art that isnt in response to an outline go post it on the artist showcase thread this thread is mainly for just coloring and sharing colorable work.
