Have you ever noticed how in the 5th book they have professor Moody check to see if it's a boggart upstairs in the cabinet at Number 12 Grimmauld Place the Most Noble House of /Black? Well, I have fantastic beasts and where to find them by newt scamander, and it clearly states that boggarts have no true form because they always change. So how did Moody know it was a boggart? The boggart wouldn't know he was looking at them because he was looking through the floor with his magical eye.

Even for it's good quality, I still think it was a bit of a discrace to Harry though. Making Harry and Ron look like pervs and made Lucious's hair the wrong color. And adding cheezy crossovers and the british accents and character impersonations of Harry, Ron, and Hermonie were butchered. Harry never says "Bloody hell", Ron does. I just thought it sucked. But I stil havent given up on Harry, the 7th book will be out soon.

I heard about that on MSN, and the autors are not liking it, and demanded the removal of them. I bet J.K. Rowling probably have heard about this and is as mispleased as the other supprt authors are.

Wow, havent been to this club in a while. But yea, got my book first night at Barnes and Noble, went to am little party and everything, didnt dress up tho : )
Overall, it was a good book, but I though it could have been alittle better. I loved the battle though, really good cept for when Harry kills Voldemort, their battle took like maybe a paragraph and then he was dead, It should have been a long maybe 2 page battle with all sorts of different spells flying every which way.

I find it very fitting that Voldemort died in Hogwarts. The only place he ever considered home.

But that spell is concidered "unforgiveable" and one use of them can sentince you life in Azkaban. There is another way to defeat him though. If you read book 6 well, there are the Horcux items, in book 2, Toms diary was one of them (but didnt reveal that fact untill book 6). Destroy all the Horcux's, Voldermort becomes vunerable.

Incase you dont know what a Horcux is, it's a dark magic related ability to split your soul into either an itm such as a book, locket, cup, or even ring. You have to kill for it to work though. That's why Voldermort wasnt able to die. He learned this from a teacher in his past when he was a student.

So what if they're unforgivable? In Gringotts he uses the Imperius Curse and When Carrow Spits in McGonogall's Face, Harry Uses The Cruciatus Curse.....I think that's worse than Avada Kedavra. That's fun to say....Crucio!, Crucio!, Crucio!, Curcio!. For Real though....Everbody was saying Hermionie Was gonna die and that would have sucked. Let us take a moment of silence for all the brave souls lost defending all that Is good (especially Dobby......)

If you'd read the book well yourself, you'd know that destroying his Horcruxes doesn't kill him. It only makes him mortal so that he could be killed. And my point was that I'd have prefered it if the killing curse was used to finish him off.

1. he was, it was just his own curse rebounded.
2. that would be a horrible ending as it is completely against harry's morals to use the killing curse.. which was clearly made evident at the start of the book. so it would also make the book disjointed and stupid.
but yeah, whatever.

Um hello. I love Harry Potter but I havent read the last book yet so I wont come back untill I do (ok I probiblywill be here but on the lookout for spoilers). I'v been put into Hufflepuff >.< I'v just seen the newist movie and I thought it was nice. It was better than I thought it would be. I like the new director(sp?)

The Prince's Tale was probably one of the best chapters in the whole book, when all the revelations appeared about Snape, and it truely had me in awe.

Deffinately agree, cause I always knew there was a reason snape was protecting Harry other than Dumbledore telling him to. there had to be something personal there. Great chapter.

I've read all of #7, and I honestly liked Dumbledore's talk with Harry a lot too. It cleared up a ton of stuff about him. Snape's memories were ok, but I think part of it was given away earlier in the book (that he did it all for Lily).

Also, do we use the spoiler system here?
