It was not bad at all.
The middle of the book was verrrrrry slow.
The first 5 and the last 5 chapters on the other hand were amazing.
There were a lot of "OMG" moments while reading the book
Towards the end there is a huge battle between everyone at Hogwarts and the Death Eaters. It gave me goosebumps to see all of the good wizards and witches gathering together to fight evil.
It was a real tear jerker when it is revealed that Snape was a good guy. He was sooo in love with Lily. They grew up together and were actually friends for most of their time at Hogwarts. Lily didn't like the slightly evil direction that Snape was going and Snape didn't like James at all. So they sort of parted ways. Snape found out that Lily and James were a target and begged Voldemort to not kill them, but Voldy wasn't hearing it. So Snape went to Dumbledore and said that there was nothing he could really do, but if he really loves Lily he will spend his life protecting the boy. So, Snape agreed to do that. Then Dumbledore told Snape that Harry has Lilys eyes and that he could see Lily in Harry's eyes.
So, when Snape was laying there at the end of the book, seconds from dying, he says to Harry "Look at me" because I think he wanted to have one last glimpse at Lily before he died. It was very heartbreaking, imo.
I wish that we were given more time to embrace Snape as a good guy. I almost wish that Harry had a chance to thank Snape.
But, at the end of the book, one of Harry's children's name is Albus Severus. His other children are James and Lily.
Predictable but awesome, nonetheless.
