That was cool, especially if you're used to product placement and don't mind that they focus more on the humans than the actual robots.

Live Free or Die Hard

Heard that was awesome.

Chuck and Larry. Go see it now.

Yeah, but it's supposed to have nice fights scenes and fx

Transformers

That's cool. (that actress is hawt).

Heard that was awesome.

Me too, plus I've seen all three of the others ones (I saw 1+3 this summer)

(shit, what's the fourth one?!)
Chuck and Larry. Go see it now.

I think that was it, but I only watch movies at the movies, if they have fx and all that stuff. I'll probably just watch chuck and larry at my house (with my big screen).

Yeah Snape's story shocked me a little I didn't expect it after he used Avada Kedevra on Dumbledore in book 6. Yeah 7 has to be by far the best of the series followed by half blood prince and OOP. I read all the books but I only own 6 and 7. I'm hoping to get the full set but that would take quite a bit of money so I'm gonna settle with onyl having 4,5,6 and 7.

Thankfully I recieved 1-4 back in 2000, from there I just added on. At some point of time my grandpa accidently got me 1-4 in paperback bc he didn't know I had them already. Now I own the entire series in paperback and hardback. I'm such a nerd, my room is decorated like gryffindor and I have posters ever. I am the ULTIMATE fan.

Yeah, like you, I really was shocked by Snape's side of the story. It kind of made me feel bad for hating him throughout the entire series, knowing now that he did all of that because he loved Lily Potter. After reading that, he's gone from #1 on my most hated person from Harry Potter to #3 of most awesome, with Lupin being second, and Sirius being the most awesome Harry Potter character.

Anyway, who here has already seen the movie? I liked it, but it needed more of Nymphadora(I refuse to call someone as hot as Tonks is in the movie "Tonks") and Luna. Especially Luna. She was pretty much the main reason I went to see the movie.

I saw the movie, I was kinda disappointed that they didn't show Ron as Keeper or mention anything about "Weasley is our King". Luna kinda creeped me out though, I could just imagine her as a hobo or something.

I'd like to join this club. I got sorted into Ravenclaw from that test.
Does anyone else think that Hufflepuff are everybody else's whipping boys? Gryffindor are obviously bummed to death throughout the book, Slytherin are the main villains, and even Ravenclaw got quite a bit dedicated to them in the last book.
Hell, even the Hufflepuff horcrux got fuck all description dedicated to it in the book.

I agree. It was the chapter I had been looking forward to, and every time I want to reread parts of the book, I always seem to wander off into the Prince's Tale.

It doesn't matter that almost all information we discover in that chapter had been predicted by the fan community almost two years ago; it was awesome to see it written by Rowling herself. I even guessed that Harry would find out about Snape's true personality through the Pensieve, as I doubted Snape would go all emo on Harry, weep and spill his guts about his love for Lily.

Awesome book anyway, but there are still some unanswered questions. For instance, what do you think was the "source we discussed" when Snape tells Voldemort the time of Harry's departure?

I think it would've been Mundungus.
He's a bit of a tard, and it could have happened when Snape put the seven Harry's idea into his memory.

I heard that many people are ruining the harry potter story by saying someone got killed by someone. What would happen if someone said what happened at the ending? Would they get sued or something? :/

No, they can't. Especially since Amazon made a mistake and ended up shipping the books out 4 days before it even came out. And when you say 'are' ruining, do you mean currently? Or are you referring to before the book came out?

It was not bad at all.

The middle of the book was verrrrrry slow.

The first 5 and the last 5 chapters on the other hand were amazing.

There were a lot of "OMG" moments while reading the book

Towards the end there is a huge battle between everyone at Hogwarts and the Death Eaters. It gave me goosebumps to see all of the good wizards and witches gathering together to fight evil.

It was a real tear jerker when it is revealed that Snape was a good guy. He was sooo in love with Lily. They grew up together and were actually friends for most of their time at Hogwarts. Lily didn't like the slightly evil direction that Snape was going and Snape didn't like James at all. So they sort of parted ways. Snape found out that Lily and James were a target and begged Voldemort to not kill them, but Voldy wasn't hearing it. So Snape went to Dumbledore and said that there was nothing he could really do, but if he really loves Lily he will spend his life protecting the boy. So, Snape agreed to do that. Then Dumbledore told Snape that Harry has Lilys eyes and that he could see Lily in Harry's eyes.

So, when Snape was laying there at the end of the book, seconds from dying, he says to Harry "Look at me" because I think he wanted to have one last glimpse at Lily before he died. It was very heartbreaking, imo.

I wish that we were given more time to embrace Snape as a good guy. I almost wish that Harry had a chance to thank Snape.

But, at the end of the book, one of Harry's children's name is Albus Severus. His other children are James and Lily.

Predictable but awesome, nonetheless.

i actually found a pic of hermione making the pollyjuicepotion and you can see up her skirt. you can search for it but also emma watson had an upskirt on the david letterman show. now on to buisness away from the pervs that i said that for, i saw the last book in a giant crate and some other product price said 58 dollars and i think that killed most of the sales for the book which was actually 18.

Making crappy responses because i'm too lazy to find someone to hang out with since 2006. or whenever i signed up

Now I finaly finished it. Now I have officaly read all 7 books. Book 7 was quite the most dramatic of all. But I hope that all dosent stop there. Perhaps fan-fic's, books from the movie like "A history, most petete potions etc,." and more candy.

I'm probably not going to join, but I have just finished the 5th book. It was very long, but I have been slacking on reading it for about 2 years. It's definitely worth finishing, and now I can see the movie. :P

Book #6, here I come. :O

what do you guys think of the 5th movie: Order of the Phenoix. I though it was a disapointing, tired, and sleepy film.
