But for the 80's I'll say that the best band was Jane's Addiction (1988).

Genesis's "Dancing with the moonlit knight" is one of my favourite songs from the seventies. Dont know about the eighties, That was pretty bad.

My favorite song from the 70's is Paradise by the Dashboardlight by Meat Loaf(1977 I thought) and well, there are loads of songs that I like from the 80's. I like the music from the 80's more then I like the music from these days actually.

Just check out the chart-toppers and all that shit, and about 1/5 of those songs is ok and 1/20 is good.
