in political debates what kind of techniques do you use

personally I stick ot my facts listen to my foe and counter them with any means nessessary and always always stick to my guns

First I tell them they're racist cunts, then I start spamming (i.e. STFU JA n00b!!!), then rip out their very soul.

I don't really have a strategy perse I just argue the my fullest ability.

Well have you heard of the "Race card" it's where you play someones different race especally usefuil if the other person is a known racist

Oh and I prefer to be streight to the point unlike some others I like shot to the point messages ((I'm not Marik when I debate))

Stick to facts catch em being hypocrytical demand facts and sources deny anything of opinion and try to hold myself up to the standards I put them to. Answer every question asked and reply to every statement, at the moment they don't do the same I've officially won the debate.

Sounds like a vicious hacking strategy

It ouwld seem debating has several strategys like just about anything Chess Yugioh monopoly anything

but you do lose if you dont stick to your guns *coughJohnKerrycough*
and answering their questions is vital

but try to not fire back at cheap shots it makes you look bad aswell

But at the same time if you have record of your opponent stating something hypocritical of what they're arguing you can use that. Ofcourse you can't point out hypocritical actions.

I try to associate fact that I know with common things they deal with everyday. Metafores works somtimes. It helps make you sound intresting. Poeple listen at that point.

How can you have one style of debating? Isn't it better to be flexible and allow for anything depending on other peoples styles?
(note I only say this because I have yet o find a style that suits me, and usually end up just repeating the same points over and over... Don't believe me? check my post history... [I'll go stand in a corner out of you ways now...])

It's best to have one style that works. and the only style that works is being completely honest.
