I have neither. Not much interest in either really.

I think you should use ReWired .
I am testing it right now (coz i am new to reason) and its great.
With your Fl skills it shouldn't be to hard !
Try for your self , and stay where you belong.

Rewire doesn't hurt you in the least, I promise. I use reason and FL, and it has expanded my abilities. Trust me, it doesn't hurt to try it in depth, I heard you about trying it and I respect it, bt reason rewired to FL has been nothing but good for me... I don't have NEARLY, and I mean not even close to the fame you have and perhaps not the technical prowess you possess, but I believe that you could only stand to gain by using both programs. This is my opinion, being a fan of your music, and a musician myself.

Good luck with whatever you do however, and continue to make that badass music my man.

With best regards,
Brian

Your option man!
Reason seems to have a better sound quality and alot of people like it more than fl. But like was sayed earlyer reason like dosent use vsti's So you can only eather wait forPropellerhead Software to come out with updates or buy the reason refill things. I kinda think that getting vsti's are easyer. I use bolth Fls and Reason but I have only used reason for about a year when I have used Fls for 7 years.

Ye true its starting to get alil off topic lol.

However i still am no convinced that reason would actually bring me anything else than longer loading time while rewiring :P

FL pwns all, hands down, screw rewire, it COULD be useful, but not needed, any handfull of VST's could replace it easily, especially z3ta+ (cough)

and stop kissing ass before i kick it

damn swede worshipers =P

(u know im kidding, comment on this and ill have to blow your mind)

Sorry.. didn't mean to distract so many people by mentioning AcidPro!! ha!

I still think that although Reason might be useful and fun to have around - you should just stick with FL...

I don't follow FL too closely, but I imagine that there should be a newer version coming out soon... And to keep it competitive with Reason - I imagine that a ton of newer and better functionality will be added.

When the new version of FL is released do you want to have to switch back? Besides - everyone seems to be under this misguided impression that all they have to do is buy a copy of Reason and suddenly they'll be sounding like a pro... (Not you are B0UNC3 - I know you're not that naive) I'm just saying that we're still sort of caught in the wave of hype...

And your music kicks some major rear-endage without Reason...

Did I mention PiePie was slightly retarded? -Oh! SHIT! - sorry - I didn't mean to break that rule about posting his personal info! :) ha haA!! j/k

Ok so i guess this thread reached it's purpose, i wont switch since i now have z3ta+ in my arsenal too.

Indeed i was thinking, in all other threads everyone goes "wah wah Reason pwns FL" but this time no one said that, funny shit hehe.

Anyway keep discussing if you wish. For me

Well Bounc3. I have to say, to me, all that FL is , is a sequencer. If you're just looking for a way to add better effects to your synths than simply upgrade your synths to something that have built in FX & filters. If you want to make your purcussion sound crisper, try getting better samples. If you want to be able to get your song to sound more "professional" in general, really spend time learning the compression and eq's . Than put it into an external sound editor such as Sound Forge or Adobe Audition and use that to master it.

I've been using FL Studio for the last 3 years, and I've tried everything else, but for me, nothing so far has offered me all that I need for my music production as FL Studio 5 pro. So in my opinion, dont change the software if you're trying to make your music sound better. Changing software just will get the job done a diferent way...

Add me on msn and I'll see if I can help you out with any problems, :) Cheers...
