They hate us because we are the only religion that hasn't given in to peer pressure and still retains traditional values. Abstinence,abortion, etc.

I just recently got confirmed and I'm extremely proud to being a full member of the Catholic Church. 2000+ years and going strong!

There aren't really many anti-theists on NG.... there are people who disagree with religion, but an anti-theist is someone for the irradication of religion.

I think people should just stay the way they are really, seems depressing to know people want to change their bodies when they'll always feel pretty empty afterward, and I'm not even too much of a Catholic myself.

Silly boy, everybody knows that the Catholic Church is pure evil. I stand by one man only and that man is Jesus. I really don't like the Romans trying a change our faith, and not to mention our children's sexual orientation. I mean, do we really NEED a Pope? We have a Bible, which contains the words of Jesus.

Catholics don't/shouldn't hate jews. Jesus grew up Jewish(unfortunately), but he started his own religion which we all are a part of! PLUS, the first few chapters of the Bible (wait.. chapters or books? I confused), were from the (much smaller) Herbrew Bible.

Yeah in that video they claimed that the pope says he is a god on earth. Talk about a conspiracy video. Instead of providing "facts" they find small passages and try to interpret them themselves.

ORLY? What year exactly? My History book is from 1999 and can't even hold its paiges anymore.

I'm still looking for the amount of CATHOLICS in the world.(Not Christianity as a whole.) But a 2008 statistic showed Christianity as the largest religion in the world with 20-21 billion. Now since Protestants are only in North American and Europe mostly, it make sense that the rest of the worlds Christians would be Catholic. i.e. India, Africa, China, etc. Though in China our faith is usually repressed and the faithful are forced into hiding, but I think there was a recent statistic showed that there are about 25-30 million Christians in China.
