I know I'm gonna be on this site as long as it's still up and I'm not dead, so no, I don't plan on giving up.
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Yep. As a matter of fact, I havent deposited for about a year or so, and I dont plan on it.

Naw....even if I don't level up, I can always vote on the new submissions so I can get a blam/protect point.

Probably for some people, but not me. I really don't see how hard it is to vote for just 5 flashes every day.

Dude, it takes like five minutes or less to deposit experience, I just do that during the day, do some B/P, and post on the BBS. I mean, it does get tougher, but I usually don't think about it until it really starts to get close, like under 100 points to the next level.

Yeah. A few weeks after I got to level 10 I stop depositing for a couple of months. I've picked it back up, and deposit almost every day now.

No I never really gave up, because I don't see any point to. I just deposit every day as a force of habit and eventually I will level up. I like being level 12, and when I get to 13 I will like being level 13. Simple as that.

You know I laugh at anyone that complains about the gap from level 9-10.
When it takes you a year to level up then you can compain, anything before that, makes you a pansy.

getting to the next lvl seems to be taking forever :(
getting to the next rank seems to be taking forever :(
... I used the NG calculator & 19 is as high as I want to go ... that will even take several years
... I found that after I hit 10 ... I have less drive to get higher rank & lvl as it takes so much more to do it
... but ... what else is there to do on the web that is entertaining & fun???? :)

I'm gonna be level 10 tommorow, so I guess that's close enough. ; )
Anyway, the only time I don't deposit my points is when I can't get to a computer, so i'm not gonna stop anytime soon.

Really? Then how is humantarget52 level 30, still alive, yet only a member for six years?

Because he's the first person who have hitted level 30, few years ago. Now, the experience required to get to a higher level is alway growing up. Someone level 28 is depositing the equivalent of 1 experience point every day.

I almost gave up on this site a few months ago, but I came back again anyway after missing like 3 days of depositing.

O_o Someone's done their homework. So, basically, everyday, it gets harder to level up?

Once I'm dead and/or get mauled by a wild albino tiger, then I'll stop.
But for now, I'll be happy just to make it to Lv. 13.

The humantarget theory of experience. As he deposits, the gap between levels 10-30 get bigger, every time HT52 deposits, the experience needed to get to the next level goes up one point. Because he signed up in 1999, the points were much lower, thus it took him less time to get to the top level.
But it will only take 150+ years if both you and the level thirty user deposit every day. If s/he misses a deposit and you don't, you gain some ground on the next level. If you miss a deposit and they don't, you lose some ground on leveling up.

I keep depositing because I vote on movies and the option comes up.
I started for the levels, but I just watch movies or play games and vote so they can have some type of standing or get through or be blammed.
That might have been confusing. Basically I just vote for the sake of voting, but after the time period has gone by, I'll be asked if I want to deposit. So I just do.
So I deposit everyday mostly when I'm on, but only because I watch different movies. I don't really try.
