Arr matey, it fast be becomin' that time o' year again that many a scoundrel an' black-hearted dog be comin' out o' the woodwork to spend a day talkin' in thar finest pirate tongue!

But this year we be celebratin' Talk Like a Pirate Day a little bit differently! Aye, we be settin' sail along the canals o' Scotland on a narrow boat, wearin' proper pirate attire and spreadin' the word for a full week before that day of privateerin' that we all be enjoyin' yearly!

We be doin' this not just fer ourselves though! Me and me crew be doin' this fer charity, and ye can be helpin' us out by visitin' our shop, donatin' to our cause, or by simply spreadin' the word (ye can be usin' this message as an example)!

Arr, ye be correct there matey! Every piece of eight we be receivin' (even if it be but a handful) will be goin' straight into our charity chest! This be includin' donations an' of course purchases from our piratin' shop!

All ye who be givin' to our cause be gettin' the right to vote on which charity the plunder be goin' to, if ye be wantin' to vote o' course!

Costs for our boat, rum and other piratin' gear be comin' from direct donations (our scoundrel friends that be too scared to be joinin' us!).

If ye not be wantin' to donate money, then we'll still be welcomin' ye to come along (if ye can be makin' it, details will be appearin' on the site nearer to the time!), or accepting gratefully any help in spreadin' the word!

In mean time though mateys, be havin' plenty o' grog!
