Well, why not just have each piece feature its original game music? Most game music is about 20-30 seconds long, and easy to get.

You really are a newb (That's right, I spelled it correctly) aren't you? I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm getting really tired of song collabs where the animation has nothing to do with the song and is poorly linked together. As for the "chaotic piece of shit" remark, you probably didn't see the menu. Also, I don't think songs pull collabs together, I think a song is what makes a collabs on NG superficial and repetitive. I myself have never sat through an entire song collab, except "Stop Cryin' Your Heart Out" and I still didn't get what was so great about it.
But I like Topaz989's idea; it makes more sense than a bunch of cartoons barely related to eachother set to the same song.

What would be cute, is if Yoshi does a peace sign with the screen going black around him. (you know, like whenever you finish a level on Super Mario World) with the classic music and all.

You can join the waiting list. There's a really good chance you'll get in, because if the author's don't confirm they're spots by Aug. 12th they're out (Deadline is Aug 30th). A :) means they've confirmed, if they don't have one they haven't replied yet.

The only thing that you can really do is hope that 4 people drop out. Which would mean all the 3 people on the waiting list and you if you added your name to the bottom

People dropping out of a collab isn't anything new. In fact, its kind of expected. I say, go for it. You have nothing to lose. What character would you pick?

I'm liking this collab, the entries aren't that bad, I like the Mario/Yoshi one. I noticed no ones done Toad yet. Mind putting me on the waiting list?

yeah, but i think they should screw...If they aren't planning to make a REAL collabs, they should fuck off (srry ,but it's true) but it's really annoying if someone REALLY wants to join, and ppl with no interest at all just wants to play around, and keep occupying the place...since i'm a really big nintendofan i REALLY REALLY want to do it :(
