I can't seem to download audio portal music anymore! It just opens a page with the sound on it and it won't download! I'm on a mac.

Tim generally deals with the server issues.

What in the good name of fuck are you talking about?
As for Glaiel_Gamer: What browser/version are you using? I believe there's a problem with Internet Explorer 5 (and variants of) for Mac users when it comes down to this sort of thing. In future, e-mail me with problems like this.

I don't know, if I am not mistaken, Tim was the one to make the upgrade in the Audio portal, thus know the Audio portal's programming as well. But this is only my lame logic.

As has already been pointed out to you, Tim is responsible for the upkeep of the servers we have running on the site. The upgrade you're talking about was a general hardware update, that affected not only the Audio Portal but the rest of the storage for the site as well - it just so happened that the Audio Portal was most in need of the extra storage at the time.
This had nothing to do with the programming of the Audio Portal.

Fine, I won't argue with you, but why wasn't it called "general upgrade" or something? If he upgrades the whole system, I cannot see why it is called audio portal upgrade.

I understood that, but it doesn't mean that it's name should be audio portal upgrade, people that are not the site admins and doesn't read all the post, doesn't know that, thus, it's name should be general upgrade, but it doesn't realy matter right now.

I think we've figured out the problem. In the future, read the whole post, instead of skimming through it. :)
liljim, I also use a Mac, running Safari. The audio submissions open in a Quicktime window, with no download option. They play just fine, but I haven't figured out how to make it download.

It was called "audio portal upgrade" because thats what it was. As liljim has pointed out multiple times, it was a server upgrade, and the audi portal needed it the most, so that why it was mentioned.
This has nothing to do with the programming side of the audio portal, and the original question was concerning this. he was having trouble downloading the songs, so this has nothing to do with the server maintenance that Tim provides.
