From July 5th-8th I co-hosted Attack of the Show on G4. That Friday night I made the trip down to San Diego and immediately got back to work on our new game demo for Comic-Con. Last week was Comic-Con and it was AMAZING... Talk about non-stop; there was an infinite stream of fans coming through and it was the best feeling.

Well this looks excellent. I'm going to buy a copy of this too. I think you'd better got your act together, and come up with a catchy name for the whole thing. Have a competition on NG for it.

You live here in Philly. That's cool.So what's the name of the new game?
(rhyme not intended)

I have absolutely no clue in Hell what is going on in those "screenshots" from Idle Thumbs, but I love it to death!
(Oh, and I alos like that tag that says "Warning: Demo has Massive Bugs")

Looks like you got another winner here, Tom. Congrats to you and everyone on The Behemoth. It's about time the little guys get credit!

Sorry, though, about the overload of stuff. If you were to stay on the west coast, I would have been more than happy to be an intern.

Oh, and my idea for a title: "A Hard Day's Knight." ;-P

Wow the new game looks pretty awesome.

It's a way different style of any game I have seen.

another 2-D side scroller!!!!11 Hey the console isnt 128 bit for nothing Tom. Why not make a 3-D game. Oh yes thats right you hate physics. Forget it but i hope you make loads of money even though its another game made in flash.

128 bits does not mean a game should be 3D. It just means more processing power, more sprites on the screen at one time, more olde 2D carnage.

Oh yes thats right you hate physics.

There are physics in 2D games too, you know. Take Gish, it has more physics than most 3D games.

Forget it but i hope you make loads of money

I'd wager the decision to make the game 2D was not based on money =P

even though its another game made in flash.

Just because it is 2D does not mean it's made in Flash. Ever heard of Rayman?

Sounds like somebody is still thinking along the lines of 3D = better

It was great to see you on AOTS, it gave me a reason to watch it.

I can't wait for your new game, it looks good.

Response to Back from the West Coast 2005-07-20 21:41:13

Idle Thumbs has a bunch of cool screenshots, but they're all blurry and low-res. Tom needs to give us some real high-res screenshots (not photos of a TV screen). I can't wait for this game. I still get all fuzzy inside seeing Alien Hominid on the shelves. Seeing this there too will surely cheer me up. This one's obviously going to be a lot better. z-axis and health bars are enough for me. And then to have knights fighting awesome looking monsters is even better.

Release a Behemoth game on PC, or at least try. I sold all my systems.
