Upload problems (yet again)

Hello Peeps,

I'm new and tried to upload some of my songs.
They were created in PCM (.wav) format and
I've tried to use Goldwave, Audio Converter Pro,
and CDex to convert the .wav into mp3
(mpeg-1 layer3) files, but in vain. I've browsed
several threads, and seen some suggestions
(such as using CDex which didn't work)... and I'm
all out of ideas.

Also, whenever I try to upload a really short loop
instead of giving me the not-an-mp3 nonsense,
it says the track "seems to be empty" when it's
obviously not empty.

Dude, the AP doesn't accept .wav's anymore... haven't you heard?

Yeah I know, I tried submitting my .mp3 files which it would accept. I didn't try windows mp3 codecs though as they output into a .wav file. I double checked everything... I'm encoding everything into 128 kbps 44100 Hz .mp3 files, but NG won't accept them for some reason. What are some other programs you guys use (that work)?

try using iTunes http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/
if u download it leave another msg and i'll let u know how to convert the file.

Sorry, typo error in previous post: I meant Newgrounds would *not* accept my seemingly properly converted mp3 files. Sorry for the confusion.

iTunes successfully converted an .mp3 file that NG accepted!
So much for all those other fancy schmancy audio programs...
