i really don't like either. They are both nu-metal (which i don't like) but KoRn can actually make music so i would rather listen to them then slipknot (the stupid masked retards)

Slipknot, i believe Vermillion pt. 2, n Duality were the best 2 of their latest album tho, all the other stuff started sounding the same after a while

Excuse me, Sir, but I do beilve that in thier Before I Forget video they are infact NOT wearing masks. I think they're ditching the whole mask thing (Thank God). Don't Judge a band by their fashion sense, I mean, look at Motley Crue.

MFKR is probably the worst album I've ever heard. If you're serious that their new stuff sucks in comparison, then you really lack taste.

BTW, KoRn is way better than Slipknot--they're versatile, they're smarter, and they don't come off as a novelty group.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're not a metal head for listening to KoRn or SlipKnot.

Neither are Metal. They're "Nu-metal" which as any real metal-head would tell you isn't metal!

Neither. They both suck. Neither is really metal. Slipknot comes close, but they both fail. They are both heavy rock. If you want to talk about real metal, visit the Metal Hell in the C&C section. It's about real metal bands, pretty much everything from Power metal to Black metal. And no, Mallcore and shit is NOT included.

Well both of them suck, but Slipknot got me into metal, so my vote goes to them.

As far as I'm concerned, Korn got pretty tired milking that same bass riff for 6 albums. The self-titled was their best, Life Is Peachy was a pretty good follow-up. Things started to get stale after that. I really wish I hadn't spent money on Untouchables, but I do think it was an ironically appropriate title for the album.

Slipknot has continued to please me since I heard their self-titled album. Although Vol. 3 isn't as strong as Iowa, I'm very much looking forward to their next effort.

One other thing, I think everyone throwing around these ideas like "nu-metal" and "mallcore" and "real metal" need to lighten the fuck up. It's fucking music and leave it at that. Labels are an excuse for not being able to form an opinion on your own.

I prefer Korn. I haven't heard very much of Slipknot's work, and what I have heard wasn't bad. But Korn's been around and has a really solid sound to them.

I'd say Slipknot. I like Korn as well, but Slipknot's music are heavier than Korn's, so I would go for the badn which makes heavier music.

Korn sucks, they MURDERED "One" and the band members have THE WORST stage names ever.
Slipknot are heavy enough for my tastes, put on entertaining live shows and go by their actual names.
Slipknot wins.

Slipknot are better than Korn, but I don't like either really, they are posers. In my opinion.

I never liked korn. And Slipknot has been my favorite band for over 4 years.
