hey guys, i have a freakishly long song to post on the AP...but it's so long that even at 128kbs encoding it's just 0.1MB over the 4MB cap. 128kbs is already crappy enough, so instead of going down to 96kbs (cue soundtrack from Jaws) i decided to encode to VBR...does anyone know if Variable Bitrate (VBR) MP3s will stream correctly on the AP? i must know...and soon hahaha. thanks people. cheers an g'day.

dunno - your other option is to convert it to mono - that will cut your file size in half.

I have a few trx i submitted with VBR and they seem to stream just fine.
