The whole London underground train centre has been closed due to the apparent rumour of power surges. Also another rumour of a bus explosion.
A link is here: http://www.forbes.co..7/07/afx2127212.html
Can anyone from England inform us of this?

London's subway was apparantly suffering from power surge explosions caused by 3 bus explosions above ground. My Dad's a taxi driver so he called in and said he saw a bus torn in half fly in the air by an explosion. Horrific.

Thank you for informing us. It seems quiet serious. At first, when I heard it, I thought the worst, but hopefully no one was hurt.
Rooty-the-Pie (TRA) said that people were walking out of the bus or something, so hopefully all is good.
I also heard another thing about trains colliding. But the news reporter said he wasn't sure or something.

It seems pretty delibarate as 3 buses in the same area exploded around the same time, this event is especially suspicious after London won the Olympics of 2012.

If this is a legitimate 'bombing', then I think the war going on between middle eastern (presumably) and western culture just got bumped up a couple notches.
Hope nobody was killed..

Apparently, there has been some casualties as well. My friend said it sounds sort of strange due to the G8 and more importantly, the Olympics.
But if there was buses exploding, how can that be related to a power surge?

Officials are not sure yet but there is some connection, probably some power lines destroyed or damaged I suppose.

Just to update:
3 bus explosion [no cause as yet]
5 tube stations at a stand still, 1 reported explosion
Reported fatalities and numerous casualties
This is fucking wrong.

This is really scary man. I hope that it's nothing too serious. There is really weird news coming in at the moment as the media is unsure of the cause.
I found some stuff at CNN.

There are at least 90 casualties confirmed but that is just from the subway explsion, there are still the many on the buses. This is just madness.

I'm quite proud of our emergency services though. They were on the scene really fast.

I doubt there have been nearly as many deaths, but hey, it rhymes.

90 casualties? This is too crazy...the London underground is the oldest in the world.

Bali bombins were 1 year, 1 month and a day after 9/11. This stuff is too crazy.
We're getting the London news right now...it seems really big. However, we did hear at the effectiveness of the emergency units.
This sounds a lot like the train incident in Spain.
To add to that, it's like peak hour at the moment.

I mean the Underground explosions are now considered to be bombings as opposed to power surges.

90+ casualties, 20 people are thought to have been killed so far, and they don't know if there could be more explosions to come or not.
Fucking hell.

woah, I never would have thought that England could be the next target. I was thinking of something like a more asian country like chine... unless they are allies of iraq and all that. Lets just hope it wasnt a terrorist attack and that people get out saftley.
