Is there a way to have 2 computers on the same network, and make their Ip addressed unable to be linked together ?

Different subnet masks maybe? ...here's an easy configuration for you in the TCP/IP settings...

Computer 1
IP Address-- 192.168.0.9
Subnet-- 255.255.255.248

Computer 2
IP Address-- 192.168.0.17
Subnet-- 255.255.255.248

That will cause them to stop communicating if they are directly connected because they are in different subnets... not sure if it'd matter if your computers are hooked up to a router though. So if that doesn't work, disable lan communication to a certain computer if your router allows it...
