My Gta Sa Is Gyptized.

I just bought GTA SA today, a legit version, and I was shocked to see it was actually a crack. Let me explain something: All video games imported to Egypt (and I mean ALL) get shipped by a shitty Egyptian company called "Game Valley". This company takes every game CD or cartridge, copies them, puts them into crappy CD's and catridges JUST to have their logo imprinted on them.

Here's an example, my copy of GTA SA. It doesn't come in a box, it comes in a CD case like a music CD. The cover of the CD is a cheap print out

A little store in this area sells games for like 20 bucks cheaper then anywhere else, but I quickly discovered why.

Looking closer at the bottom of the box, it says that it's a "pacific islander edition" and it's not to be sold in the United States. It's the same game, but he shoulden't have those copies. Oh well.

I think some people are really getting too desperate to save money themselves and then make even more then they normally could obtaining games from the main company. It's just retarded.

Like I was saying, the cover is a cheap print-out of the logo, with crappy coloring. It has the PC DVD-ROM logo, and get this: RATING PENDING.

The back of the case has badly photoshopped pictures, filled with copied/pasted text off Gamespot reviews, with old, out-dated screenshots. At the bottom, there's the Rockstar logo, the RP rating, and system requirements:

Win ME/98/200 DirectX 8 / Pentium III 800 Mhz / DVD Rom 256 MB RAM / 1 GB free hard disk space.

So anyway, I pop the DVD in, and I get a splash of some GTA screens (splashes are pictures that appear while installers load). Some Engrish is written below it:

This cd include following softwares:

Starsky And Hutch
GTA Mod Mick's Fun Island
And some other thing I don't remember.

The side of the CD case has "Grand TheFT Auto San Audreas" (typo) written in MS bold font.

When I was done installing, I opened the .exe and it asked me to put the DVD in. Confused, I did so. Once inside, it STILL told me to put it in. So I opened the disc and found a folder named "crack" with a self-extractor, containing a "gta_sa.exe". This is the crack .exe that replaces the legit .exe so the game would work.

The CD key is right under the title. When I opened the case, I got another LONG list of keys, too.

I just forgot to add that I have tried installing the "add-ons" that came with the DVD. Amazingly, Starsky & Hutch was actually the PC port of the "infamous" Xbox version. I played around through the game, got bored, and un-installed that waste of space. The next add-on "ice city" was actually GTA Vice City. The third one, "Mick's Fun Island" was a mod for GTA 3 and Vice city that allows you to install custom cars.

You don't get that on your regular GTA SA, do you?
