Who has seen Sonic X?.... I have and I love it!..:) There are Sonic X season 3 eps coming out in the fall I am excited about that!!! I own Vol 1&2 of Sonic X on DVD....

So like I was saying anyone seen Sonic X if so tell us about it...:)

dude sonic X is a new series (i think) and i saw it and i kinda like it. but i really like that intro song. it roxorz my soxorz. its weird how theres a new girl(according to sonics profile) on ng kinda because all ive seen is chicks that have been on here for what seems forever!

I have no idea what this SonicX thing is, but if anyone anywhere seriously considered that changing a caracter's name from "Robotnik" to "eggman" was a good move, then we've reached a new all-time low.

They changed his Name from Robotnik to Eggman because in Japan he's alwasy been called Eggman... I can't remember why exactly, but i think thats the base for the reason they changed it, something to do with translations or something... blah, I ALWAYS refer to him as Robotnik anyway...

'specially since the in the origin of the Sonic story, there was Dr Kintobor, who had an accident in his lab while trying to create an alternative power source ( the Chaos Emeralds, the resulting explosion did power them ), the explosion also mutated Kintobor, who then flipped his name backwards, thus creating the evil Dr. Robotnik...

thats right, im nearly 20, and a hardcore sonic nerd....

and damn proud, sonic is the best video game character ever.

Sonic X is okay. But unfortunetly, I like the older and much more funnier "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" which aired in the mid 90's (it's counter-part "Sonic the Hedgehog" is based on the serious archie comics version but it was too serious for kids so it was cancled) and plus it's nothing like the (originaly in Japan) 2 part movie, Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie (which was made into one movie when it came here so it wouldn't confuse American audiances), which was based on the short lived Sonic the Hedgehog manga that never made it to the US because they thought it'd clash with the Archie comics version (which is total crap).

Sonic the hedgehog was never released unto the SNES because in that time, it was a Nintendo company, and Sega was still it's own company making it's own games, so it was souly for the Genesis.

NO! His original name in Japan was Eggman. When Sonic came to America, they changed it to Robotnik. After Sonic Adventure, they went back to his original name.

Also to add to the arguement, DR eggman is actually a nickname, his name is still Ivo robotnik, much like Miles Prower's nickname is Tails.

Also, he was being called Eggman BEFORE Sonic X.
