Oh noez! What happen?

Earlier today, I logged on and chose the voting menu to see all the participating entries, but I wasn't going to vote yet, so I just closed it.

Now that I'd like to vote, I don't have that menu anymore! Disappeared, it has.

I wanted to vote for all those Star Wars movies and games, but now I can't >:(

Same thing happened to me. I had a look at the entries and decided on the ones I wanted to vote for. I didn't have time to decide which order to vote for them in before I had to leave for work. I just got back and the vote link has disappeared, this sucks. It was my first month being able to vote as well!

*Sigh* RaidenX even though it sucked, is going to win.

Too bad Claveman doesn't seem like it's going to place :(

And it's happened to me, as well. I never vote right on the 1st of the month, I always take a few days to consider the choices or to find the time to spend...

So.... Please relax, folks. I deposited every day last month, I'm #118 in exp, and I'm also a mod... IOW, I'm overqualified for the monthly vote contest. And thus the fact that I could see the vote link yesterday but it's gone today suggests that liljim or another admin is tooling with the system. If our links don't pop up by some point tomorrow or Monday at the latest... THEN it's time to panic, eh? (especially for me, because I go back to work on Tuesday and I won't have time until the next weekend when it'll be too late to vote)

Until then, I'm going to keep looking for liljim on AIM and try to find out what's going on... Keep yer fingers crossed.

Great, I have a potential of over 2,500 and I have 1,240.

Where do you find your "potential" experience? My profile shows 300/350, which just got there after I deposited this morning. It was 290/300. I'm thinking that the second number is the amount you need to obtain to get the next level, but I really don't know how you know your potential.

Your potential experience is the amount of exp you would have if you had deposited every day of your account's life.

1) Go to your profile

2) Divide your postcount by your posts-per-day

(i.e. for me: 8450 posts / 4.306 ppd = 1962.378 days)

3) multiply the age of your account in days by 10 exp per day

(i.e. 1962 days * 10 exp/day = 19620 exp)

4) Compare your current exp to your potential exp and weep if you have missed many deposits.

(i.e. 9890 vs. 19620... :::weeps:::)

Basically, the 2000 users with the highest experience points, OR anyone who recieved a Daily 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th over the month in question can make their vote.

It was a lot tougher to decide who the Top 10 were this month- There were so many I haven't seen from the list, and to choose 10 makes it even harder.

7350 to 12380 damn I know how you feel slighty. Cool but heartbreaking for me to do. I got my voting done but forget which ones oh well it is imporant to reveal them anyways.
