I'm sort of glad Canada has finally decided this, but it doesn't affect me at all so it's not like I'm going to jump around releasing balloons or anything, you know?

The only way I'd oppose this in Canada is if religious institutions were forced into performing marriages that may be against their religious beliefs.

I'm for it, they deserve happiness too. And I'm a-okay with gays as long as they know not to touch me in a sexual manner..I know some gay guys, and they're some really cool guys, so I think gays/lesbians should be allowed to marry if they want to.

To answer the topic, yes. I'm all for it. Why would you take rights away because of someone's sexual preferences? Seriously, that has got to be the dumbest excuse ever. And if people think that's what the Bible says, than doesn't Jesus want everyone to be treated equally? I'm telling you, politics these days are so hypocritical and contradicting, I just want to slap a politician.

i really don't like gays at all, they can't propagate, they take over our tv's, and are slowly winning over our government in which case I will move to Germany or Japan.

I personally don't believe it should be legalized but if they're going to have a separation of Church and State then I don't see why it stops it.

My only reason is that I'm a Christian, and that is strongly against my religion. But at the same time you have to look at it from a political point and accept not everyone is a Christian and we have a separation of Church and State. Therefore, the only reason holding it back is the Church.

If they're separated, I don't know why it isn't legal in all states. Sometimes I just get confused with laws.

In a summary, here is my opinion:
Morally, it is wrong.
Politically, it is alright.

i don't think government should be involved in marriage any way... all that it does it cause taxes and who really cares. Marriage is a religious thing or a promise... governments don't really need to be involved in defining it, just making sure people don't loose their rights because of it... that my opinion

i don't deny them the rights of living together in small groups, cut off from the rest of the world, and when finally, the day comes to when I rule at least one country, I will exploit that weakness and vaporize the sick abominations with the death ray I am building.

Think of the increased tourism due to our gay-friendly country! We'll make millions!

As for my view, I have no problem with homosexuals. I hear they are a clean people.
