Newgrounds was never about making money - It's a playground where people go to chill and have fun.

You all whine about downraters and stuff - well boo hoo to you. If you can't learn to suck it up then you are better off not on this site.

Most of you all had swelled heads neways it seems.

My goal - is to be one of those few people that is known around the world for just making free music for people to listen to - because in this day and age its just so easy to get music and not pay for it. Also without earning money for it I can just take my time and pump stuff out as I see fit.

Also the more of you leave means the less of you downrate me to put your own stuff at the top!

It just pisses me off so much how everyone bashes newgrounds. Without this site noone would even give a damn that you exist. lets face it - you shouldnt be able to bash this site unless you've never used it for your own publicity gains.

I don't know about you guy's but the people who should be leaving this site and make money with there music are the people who are staying at newgrounds and keeping it free.

I know my songs suck but my loops are decent and I will be more happy to see my music on a flash movie than get a lousy buck on site...

It'd be nice to see a dialogue between the people with ideas and the people who have the power to implement those ideas rather than letting egos get in the way and take all ideas as attacks. :\

Incredibly good point Sir Gary. thing is, the problems of zero voters and not enough publicity for the AP have already been raised to those in power. If you got any other problems (and if possible, solutions) you best get them down quick before this thread gets locked too.

This place is for flash films, and creative feedback. And the ap IS improving, even though it seem to take forever...

Your words are true. theres no way record people come to newgrounds and go searching for people one by one....

But the thing that gets me is that a lot people only do things for money. Why can't people just make something good for free. I mean look people are leaving the ap because they want money. Now if I bet you if they never came to newgrounds they would of been worse musicians, and maybe they would never of thinking of making music. Well maybe they were musicians before they came to newgrounds, but I garantee that they would of been a lot slower to getting were they are without newgrounds. And geuss what newgrounds is free. So big thanks to Tom Fulp for not being a greedy bastard and making newgrounds not free..

yes I know you have to make money but come on im not saying the musicians whoa re leaving are bad im jsut saying if im going to buy a song it has to be a pretty good song so the people who should be leaving because there music has the capability in selling arn't...

Plus be honest the only way to get a decent income is you ahve to be selling a song around 1 doller each. You hve to sell at least 300 songs to get a bit of money now if you can't get 300 DL on newgrounds when its free I be damned if you could get it selling the music...

But then to the guys who are selling the music prove me wrong I will be glad to see my point get lsot in the air.

Amen, this place is about sharing your Ideas and thoughts, and having others giving suggestions on how you can improve, not making money. Newgrounds is free and that is how it will always be. I am thankful for this, and if you don't want people downloading your music for free, don't upload it here, it's that simple. well geues what if I go for it I will make myself look like a fool... I mean im trying to get good in music but im no where near as good enough to go for my dream. And my dream has nothing to do with music so no. its called common sense i just find it stupid for a guy under 18 is going to go sell his music I mean come on am I the only one who finds this a little stupid...

But hey my dream right now is to pass school with above 70 average. That is my dream now and I am doing a fucking good job in following it my end year average was a 76 and thats pretty good considering my past education.....
