Since I couldn't find help from anyone else, my next option is to take NegativeOne's advise and seek help here. Any advise or options would be greatly appreciated.
It seems that my computer is refusing to start itself. I'm using Windows XP model hp pavilion a530n. Right now I'm in "Safe Mode with Networking". Which basically means half of my applications don't work and that I'm stuck with 800 x 600 resolution. This all started last night around 1am NG time. Before signing off and going to bed I decided that I should go the whole Windows Update thing since it had been sitting on my toolbar for a while. Here's a screenshot of the updates I installed on my Add/Remove programs list. http://img199.echo.cx/img199/4938/screwed9kr.jpg
Once these updates had been installed it said that I need to restart my computer for them to take effect. Well, it seems that now my computer refuses to sign on properly. Whenever I attempt to start my computer it merely restarts itself again and then brings me to a screen where I have the following options:
---------------------------------------------------
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking (what I'm in currently)
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Restart Computer from Last Known Good Configuration
Restart Normally
---------------------------------------------------
Well so far I've tried everything, and the one I'm currently in is the only one where I can actually get things done. I've ran my virus scans and spyware scans and etc. I wasn't able to update them though (both my AVG and Adaware are a week old update-wise). I've eliminated the 6 spyware and 4 viruses I had. Tried again with still no avail. I know I can probably do that whole system wipe thing, but I have many files and programs on here that I would never be able to replace. My sound drives aren't even working at the moment. Any help/suggestions/ideas/etc that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Another possibility is to uninstall the Windows updates (the ones you installed before it stopped loading) one by one and see if at any point it is able to boot normally again.

Before replying, please ask yourself the following question:
"Does my reply offer any significant advice or help contribute to the conversation in any fashion?"

I used Adaware Personal SE twice and Norton and AVG twice each and that was all I was able to get, I made sure it was set to deep scans all individual files and such on my C&D drives as well as all those other parts of my computer I really could care less about. Maybe it missed some, but I was pretty sure it got them all. :(
If you have an empty partition, install windows on it (so you won't lose any data). If you don't have an empty partition (which is likely the case), you could try to repair windows.
Ah, sadly enough it is the second option that I will have to take. It would be nice having an empty partition know though.
I've had a lot of troubles with Windows update and my old win 2K, then when I repaired, it was okay again, but when I tried to reinstall the updates, the problem came again, so basically, some M$ updates are real pieces of **** (the problem being : they are often needed to fix big security holes).
Yeah, I usually don't go for the windows updates very often for the fact I hate restarting my computer. Yet, you'll need to know, I really am not that fimiliar with Windows and don't know how to go through this whole repair process, I'm more of a Linux specialist, so you mind explaining it all to me? :)
Btw, did you try a system restore ?
Yes, I tried 3 times, each time yielded unsuccessful results, which is why I had to turn here. >_>

I doubt there are viruses/spyware left, but that is plausible. And this repair thing sounds awesome if it won't cause a severe data loss, I just need a walkthrough for it. ;)
windows update stuff
I don't plan on ever clicking that devil of an icon on my toolbar again. D:<
Computers are like air conditioners, they stop working properly when you open windows.
Skillfully done. :D

I tried that, but it said that I didn't have the privledges to uninstall them, even though I'm the administrator/owner of the computer. But thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me out so far and made a worthwhile comment. This is really a hassle on me. :'(
